Roms in wrong system
When I first learned about Roms I heard Nintendo took down their games, but I wanted those Roms on my raspberry pi. So I purchased an SD card full of games. Going through it I noticed some games were in the wrong system category, for example Metal Gear for the PlayStation was in the Super Nintendo category. Am I able to simple put the SD card into my computer and click and drag it to the correct location or not? I'm still new to all this and still learning as I go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just a minor note but Metal Gear is actually a NES or MSX game, if you want to play those I would go MSX versions over NES though (Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake) you would need a translated copy of the MSX versions though (NES versions are poorly done ports)
Metal Gear Solid is the PSX game (GameCube version (Twin Snakes) is a better version, mostly the exact same game just a few game play tweaks and graphical update)
Depends on how it is read
I would of thought though doing just that moving the actual files from the incorrect folder to the correct one would be enough though, if the system just using certain folders for each system emulated
Sorry I have yet to do anything with my Pi as I use other consoles (Wii Xbox Vita & 3DS) to do much the same thing anyway or I happen to actually own a few other consoles that I still use
