The service was possibly just down at the time, no the R4 will have no effect to that.
The eStore is currently doing nothing for me, just constantly loading
EDIT:-
eStore got there both seem to work fine
reals? cause i can't seem to get no connection between the two. would i haveto wat about a week or so before Nintendo...............?
Make sure WiFi is on and it is setup for your wireless router and do a connection test while you are there.
Take the R4 out if you wish.
I'm off out though for now....
yeah i have enable Wifi correct........ i can access Miiverse and that browser alright..................is Mii Plaza and eShop not accepting perhaps SD Card adapters that use MicroSDs or something? could THAT be why i haven't............
sorryfor double posting but it seems Miiverse isn't accepting me either. maybe it's the R4 Cart that's killing me or......?
Sounds like an issue on your end but no Flash Card or Micro SD to SD will effect that, but the SD may not be formatted correctly or corrupt in some way that would prevent it working.
[I'm not talking about the micro SD in the flash kit]
I don't remember trying without an SD though or if you actually need a SD inserted to access those
What exact error message are you getting anyway?
And What country are you connecting from?
Mine is the UK, but if you are connecting from another country it may be a localized problem with Nintendo rather than your console.
The other issue that I can think of is just a bad update though, that would be very uncommon.
connecting from Australia. the error message i have looks abit like this:
Error Code: 005-4240
An error has occurred.
Please try again later.
i keep getting that over and over seeminglylike Nintendo doesn't want cheaters or something connecting to heir services....................
EDIT: seems weird but it seems i can now access Miivers smoove now it's just Mii Plaza and the eShop giving me....................
Lol, this doesn't have anything to do with your piracy habits. Nintendo has gotten hammered with new users from Christmas, and can't handle the load. It's sad really.
This means they're having internal issues on their end, likely due to all the new nintendo consoles recieved on christmas trying to connect at once. Has nothing to do with your system or what flash carts you may be using.
Right now their official website says "Nintendo Network ID accounts and Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS are having intermittent issues.". Also here's an article from yesterday stating the same; http://www.nintendolife.com/news/201...gests_patience
For future reference here's their official "Network Status" page; http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/net...ork_status.jsp
so does MaslowK think i might have to wait till year's end before reconntecting to eShop?
EDIT: you know what, scratch what i just said. might have to wait till Feb 2014 to see what's happening.
Probably better to just try connecting late night or something. Or if you can manage some time that kids won't be hammering the system. Once school goes back everything will correct for sure.
yeah.thanks guys
and when are they exactly, sorry to sound a bit intensive when asking?
Works days 9 til 5 (but it's holidays for kids and most 3DS owners are kids so that is out the window)
Off peek times are times that not as many users will be online Death gave a good example Midnight to 4am is a good try
To be honest not many of us are from Australia so we don't know what your off peek times are exactly
You could try asking Nintendo http://www.nintendo.com.au/ they should know when there servers are busy and not so busy
