I don't know about emulator at all that time. I think my first game is a game from MAME which I don't remember.
Final fantasy 4 for me but later figured out about rom hacks that change the text etc.
and played some spoofs of many different rpg's including CT
I think it was Contra for the NES.
Pokemon Red but I've never finished it because I've accidently formated floopy disc with emulator and saves.
Rockman and Forte, using Snes9x, I think. My computer wasn't good enough to emulate the SNES at the time, so the game ran in slow-motion.
Final Fantasy 6, in 7th grade, because I never got to finish it when we rented it.
Bushido Blade and Oddworld Abe's Odyssey.
MY bro had them on a flash drive, but we couldn't play them til we got internet at our house, then I downloaded ePSXe
Hmmm... I think it was some Gundam W fighting game for the SNES in the ZSNES for MS DOS in a borrowed Pentium II PC.
For me it had to probably be Final Fantasy VII or Chrono Trigger
I had no idea what those games were and i immediately fell in love with them after i started playing them
then I found Wild arms....
The first game i emulated was Wolfenstien 3D for the GBA.
I think it was the Spectrum version of Manic Miner on an Amiga 500 back in the early 90's.
The first game I emulated was Super Mario Bros. 1 on NesterJ for PSP.
honestly can't remember the very first game I emulated but I think it was super mario 1 or 3 but could be wrong I do know it was something for nes.
It's Final Fantasy III USA for me.
Secret of Mana. My older brother and I didn't own a SNES growing up, but we played a large chunk of it three player at a friend's house when we were kids, and for years afterward we thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, and dreamed of being able to play it again someday. So it was pretty much the first game I looked up when I first found out about emulation back in 1999-ish. ^_^ I wound up playing it with my younger brother rather than my older, though, as my older was kind of tiring of RPGs by then, while my younger was just starting to really get into them.
for me, when i get a computer 3 years ago, it was Shining Force II on Sega Genesis emulator. Gens it is..
The first one that came to my head was Pokemon Yellow on VBA around 2004-2005. It was when I really discovered what emulators were. But the real one was actually 20 em 1 (a brazilian "action 52" better developed, but still kinda boring) for Master System on MEKA for DOS in a 486 PC (it ran slow as hell...) around 2003-2004. Alongside with it, I played Sonic, Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy III ("Turma da Monica" here), and so on. I liked that so much that I had the patience to play the games at 10-20fps. I even managed to beat Alex Kidd in Shinobi World!
I didn't know about emulators till about 2007 I think and the first thing I emulated was Super Metroid
I can't really recall, it was more than 10 years ago, but knowing me, it could have been Super Mario World :Yoshi:
Probably some C64 game. Either that, or something on the SNES, like Chrono Trigger or Tales of Phantasia. It's been too long for me to properly remember.
:thot:
It was either Castlevania SOTN for psx or super starwars for snes, pretty sure I got both of those the same day anyhow.
The 1st game i emulated is ought to be the first game i ever played,
Super Mario Bros for NES.
my first was a nes emulator on the dreamcast, a friend of mine made the the disk for me as i didnt have a computer at the time. the first game was dragon warrior 2, never played it before
It was Super Mario Bros for the nes. It's the first game I played on the nes,, obviously, so I had to play it again.
The first game I emulated was Silent hill 1 I wanted to play it so bad then i found epsxe and Emuparadise :)
Pretty sure my first emulated game was a N64 game.
If not then definitely FF7
Grandia for PSOne--spent about 400+ hours on it through multiple playthroughs--great game
Mike Tyson's punch-out using NEScafe. Using arrow keys was a lot harder than I thought. My wife deleted the file thinking it was spyware lol.
Megaman X. I remember playing on the tiny screen because I couldn't figure out how to fullscreen.
I haven't the foggiest. It was likely Chrono Trigger or Harvest Moon. I do remember that the console definitely was the SNES, though; I still remember zSNES with fondness.
Samurai Spirits Zero on Kawaks, great time-waster back in HS days
Probably SMB on Nesticle.
That emulator had the best application icon ever!
Pokemon Red in NO$GMB
Trojan (NES) on nesticle
That's actually a damn good question. I believe it was Mother 3.
I quite don't actually remember what game I first emulated myself, I had thousands of tries emulating the N64 before actually getting it to work, but the first game I've seen emulated, was Donkey Kong Country 2 in a friend's computer. It was so damn awsome seeing such a classic running in a computer, that I rushed to my own computer and searched for every emulator of every console I wanted to play. My first emulated game was probably Super Mario 64.
ghost house for sega master system on chasms i think.
moonstone on dosbox another early one
First game I can remember emulating was Secret of Mana on the ZSnes emulator. Final Fantasy 3 SNES (yes, I know it's actually 6)... hmm... Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2, came shortly after those.
Monster Rancher Advanced 2 with the first GBA game I ever emulated. Put some many hours into new games on that it's not even funny. -_- I finally did find a physical copy of it, but Keep it put up.
Without doubt Sonic for the MD/Gen although I can't remember which PC emulator I was using other than the font was kind of blood-dripping in style. I think.
Whenever I try an emulator on a system I haven't before Sonic is generally the first in line to get a play through to be fair.
