Do you have any "Gaming Sins" you know things that your not proud of maybe like that time you cheated on Zelda or what nots?
To get the ball rolling...
I've NEVER played on a Real NES.
Like EVER not even held one of there controllers, In my Defense I was Raised in London and had a Sega Master System and everyone I knew had one too no one I knew of at that time had one xD
I dont have a Saturn.
That's it.

I had my sister beat, like, three of the OoT dungeons for me (I think I beat all the bosses though, but I'm not certain).
Dunno why, but I never really felt that the adult dungeons were actually fun.
I never owned a NES or SNES either, I had a sega megadrive (genesis) though.
ive never played on a real snes or ps1 nes for that matter. i ussaly dont finish games that i play
ive played on a NES a SNES a Sega megadrive but i have never played an orginal atari or a saturn :O also i tend to use walkthroughs more frequently than i probally should
I made it all the way through Quest 64 only to end up cheating to beat the final boss...
I never beat Chrono Trigger. Why? I dunno... i tried 2 times, but after 10 hour of gameplay, i gave up for some reason. I planning start the DS version but... i not in mood for play CT right now >.<
Never owned a real NES or SNES Console myself or play on either one physically.I didf however own a Family Computer that I still do and play the NES games on quit often
I Did however have a Sega Megadrive and Sega Genesis that i still have as well. They just dont work anymore because of the power plugs missing

I've often lied about beating FFVI, because I've almost done it lotsa times (sorta lost interest right before Kefka a bunch of times, and I've watched the endings). And I don't think (really not sure...) I've actually gotten the best Suikoden II ending. I've messed up with one character soooooooo many times, anyhow.
Oh, and the one time my sis was about to beat me in a SMK64 GP I turned off the game right before she passed the goal line. Which was pretty terrible. ^_____^

I accidentally crashed a Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast server!

I got the Windows (note I don't use "PC", as in "Personal Computer", which would also include Mac & Linux) game long after the last official patch was released btw.
To crash that server was a simple mistake: Keep a custom (from a website-) character selected while joining the game (as in from Spectator to Player).
At least I can now laugh at how dumb I was back then ;-)

Oh I never beat FF8 without cheating either. I played all the way to the end and Ultimecia kept ripping my party up. I got so pissed off after awhile I went out and bought a game shark. Only time I ever did that though. I'm a firm believer in not cheating on first play throughs
As for Smartphone friendly, get an android and tapatalk. Problem solved.
As for the thread: I actually played through Beyond the Beyond, twice. I feel dirty whenever I think about that.
Also, I think liking Ar Tonelico might be considered a sin of some sort. Possibly even illegal in some states.
I never found 'The cake is a lie' to be funny. At all.
I never could beat the original Ikari Warriors without cheating.

Well, in 10th grade I had a girlfriend, and on my birthday I got a brand new PS2 and a bunch of games.
I then proceeded to ignore my girlfriend until she broke up with me a month later. I just couldn't stop, FFX had me hooked.

Back on topic: Temp ban on Mario Kart Wii due to "Always have Blue Shell" and Gamecube L Trigger abuse at the end of one race (well, I hope I teach hackers to stay away from 1st place (: )
EDIT: It's hard to play Mario Kart Wii online w/o using items; I don't abuse that hack btw.
I use to cheat on games on the first playthrough all the time. I highly regret it. I had never used a gameshark until one day I decided to try one. I became instantly hooked and couldn't stop using it. Finally I realized that it was a waste of time and really took away from the game. I don't even use button codes anymore. Plus now using cheats takes away achievements and trophies, so its best to not use them or use them after you beat the game and get the achievements and trophies.

When playing console FPS I would watch multiple screens.
I recall doing it with goldeneye, where I would hit people from quite a distance with traps/sneak attacks/one hit kill guns/whatever.

umm I only ever bought like one psp game (lemmings as i recall and it was only 2.99 for it). That's as close to a gaming sin as I have. :P
I once sold a good 70% of my NES games to go towards getting a Gamecube. Including the gold cart of Zelda. ;_;
There was once a time when I said Sonic 06 was "okay".
Then I played it more and realized my mistake, but still...

I had a friend of mine at the time beat all the harder puzzles and dungeons for Link's Awakening and then I beat the final boss and took all the credit.
I was a dick at the time.
I actually can't think of anything myself.. Most of my worst sins were cleansed at some point or another. (Like not playing something awesome, and eventually getting around to it.)
Once when I was a kid, I pretended to be another kid's friend just to play his Gameboy. Super Mario Land kicked my ass back then.
When I was a kid, and I had just gotten the then recently released Nintendo 64, I promptly destroyed my SNES with a hammer. I am still filled with regret to this day.
