Um...don't get me wrong, I'm not one to fuss over names, but... Surely if you're going by the English market's numbering system, Seiken 3 doesn't exist at all, and there's no such thing as a 'Secret of Mana 2'? Wouldn't there just be a 'Mana' series in which Legend of Mana is the second game? ^_^ I mean...'Secret of Mana 2' was just the name that fan translators and importers slapped on the Japanese game. It's in no way official... If you're not going to count Final Fantasy Adventure as a Seiken game because it wasn't officially released as such in English, then there's no sense counting Seiken 3 either. ^_^ You'd be as well calling Legend of Mana 'Secret of Mana 2'. ^_~
...
Sorry, but pedantic, unnecessary corrections annoy me, and thus demand even more pedantic, equally unnecessary amendments. ^^;;;
Anyway, I'll recommend (in before Hypnos!) Umihara Kawase. It's a nice little puzzle-y action game that has a perhaps-slightly-nicer sequel for the Playstation. But the overall gameplay is mostly the same in the two, and most all of the levels are different in the SNES one anyway, so it's still worth a go. Also play Demon's Crest, which I feel is maybe the best thing to have ever come out of a series that I think is pretty awesome to begin with. ^_^
Besides that... Bahamut Lagoon is neat if you like S-RPGs? ^_^ Contra III, provided you've not played it? Actraiser? R-Type (insert numeral)? Megaman (insert numeral)? Castlevania (insert numeral)? Sparkster? Kirby Super Star? Starfox / Starwing? Tetris Attack? Super Ghouls n' Ghosts? All of the most famous Squaresoft games that you've probably already played if you have even a passing interest in RPGs? ^^;;;
Oh, Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia were both mentioned, but Terranigma hasn't been said yet? Play that if you haven't already. ^_^ It's absolutely fantastic. The translation's a bit dodgy in places, but I'm sorely tempted to think it the best game on the SNES anyway. :3 It plays well, has great graphics and music, and tells a wonderful and surprisingly unique story. ^_^
Most of my favourite games have been mentioned already. I was going to sneak in and give my standard ZAMN response but Fer got there before me. :wacko: Umm, if you like racing games at all then the first Top Gear is utterly fantastic. Definitely one of my favourite SNES titles. Maximum Carnage is a great sideways-scrolling beat-'em-up based on the Spider-Man saga of the same name, and the Super Star Was series is always good fun if you're in the mood for an action platformer. Don't forget Starfox either. Not sure if that's been suggested yet, but shame on all of you if it hasn't. :P
You might want to check out which Japanese SNES games now have English translation patches for them.

Prince of Persia, 2 hours, 20 levels. Die trying.
Super Metroid, absolute drool
UN Squadron, mindless fun
Super Mario RPG, I have not played much, but is much fun
The first SNES racer, F-Zero
Well, by the end of the game I realized I didn't have a clue about what was going on. That chick's long monologues, the knights selling crap, the guy the girls keep locked up during flights, Sentak being a senile skirt-wearing freak. Honestly, I'm still going "what the fuck?".
Oh, um... Well to be honest, I played it a long, long time ago, well before the complete English patch came out. ^^;;; I didn't know very much Japanese then, and I couldn't really read much besides the menus and simple words here and there. I did download it recently with the intent of replaying it, but I still haven't really run through it with the ability to actually comprehend what was going on. ^_^ So I can't exactly vouch for the story. I just think it's really fun to play. ^^;;;
No arguments there. ;) I just remembered that I planned to make a thread about all the nonsensical things in the plot but I, err, forgot to do it. So, mm, totally. :P
