I guess an emulator?
Ok, you'll want to download ePSXe. I don't do PSX emulation personally, so I don't know the best version. You might check the PSX Emulation section we have...it's in the Everything Emulation forum. It should tell you everything you need to know ;)
EDIT: It's slightly embarassing, but I can't find the guide I was referring to. One of our staff members, SegNin, recently wrote up a guide...or something :P
He'll be along soon, and will definatley be able to answer your questions.
Alright, thanks alot. I'll drop by many times a day and see whats going on. If I could be contacted through AIM, that'd be perfect.

You should get the latest Epsxe along with version 1.5.2 as it emulates some games better.
The Epsxe Configuration Handbook should help a lot
You also need a bios file and some plugins. I really forgot where to get them though.
If you have a PS1 you can play them using the swap trick that's in my signature. You can burn the files using a program called CloneCD. A simple Google search will let you find a demo version.
3 of the best PSX emulators -- get all 3 as there are a few games that only work in that emulator.
ePSXe:

PSXeven:
http://batard.psxfanatics.com/
pSXfin:
http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/
Plugins that you'll need for ePSXe and PSXeven:
http://www.ngemu.com/plugins.php?cat...win32&type=gpu
Recommended Graphics Plugin:
P.E.Op.S. GPU v1.17 or Pete's GPU Plugins v1.76
Recommended Sound Plugin:
Eternal SPU v1.41 or P.E.Op.S. DSound v1.9
Recommended CD Plugin:
P.E.Op.S. CDR v1.4 or the default one that comes with the emulator
For PSXeven, you'll also need an Input Plugin like N-Rage's PAD plugin v0.95.
Finally, for all emulators, you'll need the PSX_Bios_SCPH1001 BIOS, which you can get from here:
http://www.emuparadise.org/biosfiles/bios.html
And Saber already gave you the link to the ePSXe Configuration Handbook, so refer to his post for that.
I recommend PSXFin, it's more newb friendly.
What do I do with the BIOS? where does it go?
I don't have one of those... should I just make a new folder?
It would go in the folder of wherever you put ePSXe...
If there ISN'T a 'BIOS' folder there, then yes, create one.
ie, if you put ePSXe in the 'C:\ePSXe' directory then the BIOS should go in the
C:\ePSXe\BIOS directory...
I didn't put ePSXe anywhere yet. It's all on WinRAR now.
Extract all the files to a folder on your hardrive and do as woodman says.
Alright, I set up ePSXe and BIOS. What do I do with FFT now?
Did you set up the BIOS and Plugins?
If so then File --> Run ISO Then open up your FFT image file and play away.
Where do I put the FFT image file?
It doesn't matter where you have it. The only thing that matters is that you have it uncompressed. In ePSXe you go to the File menu and select Open ISO. It will open up a dialog box to select a file. You select the image file, and it will start to play the game.
Sorry about all the questions. Where do the plugin's go?
In the plugins folder.
"C:/ePSXe/Plugins"?
Anything in Program files?
It's really easy: the BIOS file in th BIOS folder and the plugins files (video, sound and cdr) in the plugins folder.
We don't mind to answer questions, but we like our new users take the time to read first the tutorials and guides other users kindly made before asking questions that are already answered there. So, please, read the links you was already provided, it explains how to set up your emulator and how to configure the plugins especifically so many games will run, it's all there:
http://www.epforums.org/epsxe-config...x.html?t=26432
http://www.lordkane.co.uk/forums/index.php?board=8.0
If you see something is not working after reading what it says, then please ask whatever you need.
You'll find other useful links here:

It's running way to fast. Any way to slow it down?
ePSXe, that is.
When I run psxfin, It's not fullscreen, and freezes.
Please, don't double post, use the EDIT button to edit your last post adding whatever info you feel you have to add.
As for your problem with ePSXe, run the emu and go to config/video and hit configure in the video plugin you are using, once there, check use fps limit and auto detect fps, both are under the framerate box. Accept it and restart the emu.
