Iron Maiden / Helloween / Finntroll / Judas Priest.
I think this topic has been done a million times before, and I think my answer remains the same in most of them (added Judas Priest now). :P
My favorite band is AC/DC, as some of you may know, and my favorite person in that band is obviously Angus Young. ;)
Behemoth/Morbid Angel/Manowar/Megadeth/Napalm Death/Vader/Decapitated/Arsis/Pearl Jam/Iron Maiden/Dark Tranquillity.
Yeah man AC/DC,Metallica, And Guns n Roses. Yeah
Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Children of Bodom. These, I think. Don't really have a favourite person.
The Police/Foo Fighters/Dream Theater are the major dudes. There's plenty more though
If I had to pick a favorite person I'd probably pick David Mustaine, Eddie Vedder, or Trey Azagthoth.
Tool... I sold my soul to Maynard.
Bill Steer
Iron Maiden, Grave Digger, Bathory, Dream Theater, Blind Guardian and Gamma Ray.
Same list as last time, I think. As for my favourite individuals, they are Kai Hansen, Hansi Kursch, Michael Kiske, Varg Vikernes and the late Cliff Burton and Quorthon.
David Draiman - Disturbed
Kevin Palmer - Trust Company
Chester Bennington - LP
Pete Loeffler - Chevelle
My favorite bands would be Mindless Self Indulgence, Green Day, Orgy
Mindless Self Indulgence - Jimmy Urine
Green Day - Billy Joe
Orgy - Jay Gordon
The guy from Orgy is Jay Gordan :) An awesome band too. Love his vocals.
Oooh, and Mindless Self Indulgence's singer is awesome too! Count him as a fave band member, especially on the song Straight to Video.

Dude... dude. Rep for your sig, avatar, and mentioning of Quorthon/Bathory. I can't believe I failed to mention this awesome dude. David Vincent, Dimebag Darell, Abbath(from Immortal) and "Barney" Greenway seem to be really cool people too.Quote:

Definitely a good band, although I wasn't quite as impressed with their second CD, "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," as I was with their first one. Gerard found himself a lot more on their second CD, but I just prefered the absolute essence of the first one...Quote:

Songs to listen to include: "Headfirst For Halos," "Demolition Lovers," "Our Lady of Sorrows" and "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville."
Anyways. My favorite band jumps around a lot, but right now I'm really, really into the new "Boys Night Out" CD, "Trainwreck." And the new Finch album is really good, too.
Favorite people still include Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver), Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Jesse Lacey (Brand New), Adam Lazzara (Taking Back Sunday), Kara Dupuy (Boys Night Out), Connor Lovat-Fraser (Boys Night Out).
That's a few people... the guy from Finch should be in there, too, but I don't have the energy to find his name.
My favorite,
Bands: Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Iced Earth, Megadeth, Nirvana, Papa Roach, Green Day, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society.
Can't really think of any people at the moment
Bands: Thrice, Finch, Breaking Benjamin, Remembering Never, Nirvana, Crossfade, Disturbed
People: David Draimen, Kurt Cobain Nate Barcalow, Justin Densrue, Teppei the Asain
If I had to pick one band above all the others, Therion.
Metallica/ Guns N' Rooses/Poison/ACDC/Iron maiden
Heavy metal 4 Ever!!!!!!!!!!
No! You like Thrice/Kensrue, but then you like Nirvana and Kobain, the worst 'rock' band ever. I don't like any of those except for Thrice and maybe a little tiny bit of Finch.Quote:

Individuals: Mirai Kawashima, Varg Vikernes and Quorthon are the only ones I can think of at the moment.
You call Nirvana the worst rock band ever, then say you like a little bit of Finch? I knew this kid was emo! :O :PQuote:

Thrice is one of the few bands of their genre that actually has talent. And Nirvana isnt rock exactly, its grunge. Get it right or don't get it at all. :evil:Quote:

edit; DON'T CALL ME FUCKING EMO!!!
But perhaps I deserved it for saying I liked a Finch song. Shame on me.
Finch isn't as bad as Dashboard Confessional, though. There's nothing worse than seeing whining midget with an acoustic guitar... silly emo kids.
How is Nirvana the worst "rock" band ever? Honestly now... they may be very commercial, but they are by no means the worst rock band ever. In fact, they are one of the best... when they were big, they still had that small-mind attitude. Admittedly, some of it went to Cobain's head, but some of that was just his dissatisfaction of how things were perfect in his head, but not quite as perfect when he recorded it.Quote:
