I'm collecting, what can I say? I'm going to purchase my next round of NES games and, as such, would like to know what you guys think I should purchase. With this next order I will have:

I've seen some great suggestions that I would have put had I not seen them already mentioned. I do have a couple to recomend that I don't think have been mentioned (if they have I'm sorry. I'm a bit tired)

I assume you already have River City Ransom. I still remember buying that game from a used video game store about 10 years ago.

If your really into collecting you should get all the megamans, and castlevanias I beleave they are worth decent amount these days.

@EmuFreak - if you'll take a look at my list you'll note that I do indeed have all of the Megaman's and two of the Castlevania's, come this next purchase. All the Megaman's, complete in box (even what I have, with MM1 missing the instructions, since those don't really add too much value) sell for about 300USD. All the Castlevania's are slightly more common and perhaps will sell for about 75USD. The two Zelda's are even more common and will probably sell for about 50-75USD together, provided they're CIB with the maps and whatnot.

@KnightofNachos - I've never actually played River City Ransom. What's it about?

Those are some i couldn't live without.

Sky kid is one of the greatest pickup and play games out there and of course Spy Hunter is a great one.

RIVER CITY RANSOM!!
You play as two guys (co-op) who're out to kick streetgang butt!
It's a great, fun-as-hell (although I fail to see any sense in that expression) game!

Developed by TECHNOS Japan, also developers of Dodge Ball for the NES and Double Dragon series...
Be warned, though... The game is NOTHING like Double Dragon. It's much more humorous and has free-roaming map. You can buy stuff at different malls like martial arts books (Stone Fists!! Acro-Circus!!), food (you can even order to go!), enter a sauna, etc.

P.O.W - Prisoners of War (Excelent brawler by SNK)
Guerrilla War (Top-scroll shooter by SNK for 2 players - very fun!)

Yep. =) I didn't care for Star Tropics that much (a friend of mine has the first one), nor did the TMNT series strike me as anything that I really cared for beyond infancy. The Immortal just wasn't my style of game, dunno why; just didn't do it for me. I hate Punch Out *shudder*. I'm going to get Kid Icarus, Ice Climbers and a bunch of other ones after I get Final Fantasy and the two Dragon Warrior games, but right now they aren't a major priority. Hmm... there's a bunch on that list that I've played and just didn't like... as well, the two Final Fantasy's (II & III) were never released for the NES, they only made it as far as the Famicom.

That's why I stated they were Japanese... You could always buy a Famicom on eBay! :P
