I think i'm going to buy this Aurora computer. Don't you think it's worth it. Seems like it would last me two years.
you could build a better computer for less than that. but if you dont wanna buid your own then it looks like a OK deal.
Seems like an okay deal, but best advice I can give you that I notice never fails is just continue looking around, all the information you find the better, plus always compare prices.
I really don't have the patiance right now to build my own computer. I need a better one now. And that one is like 1000x better than the one I have now.
That seems pretty damn good for how cheap it is... It's the price of a Dell or HP.
Yeah it's a nice deal for the price but watch out... my friend bought a computer like 2 weeks ago... He just had 1 slot for his DDR ram :ugh: ...And his bro had 4 lol. but yeah I would get that maybe if I had no time to make my own... but I'm a newb to computer building...:grazy:
not a bad deal,i'm looking for one myself right now but with win2000 and a p4
Damn, that Aurora isn't a bad computer! I may get one myself soon. Gotta go with a different sound card and extra cooling of course tho =P
Building your own isnt that hard, or time consuming. Its like building something with legos, just follow the directions and you'll have something functional in no time.
i have the same cpu, and similar mobo (asus A7N8X).
i can tell you athlon 2500+ is great:shades:
EDIT
oh nm, i always get confused with A7V8X and A7N8X)
well you could always tweak it later, and depends on whether or not you can find a better deal soon... i'd say go for it
That looks pretty good, But I'd keep my eyes peeled for better deals. I personally want a Pentium, not Athlon.
Athlons are fine if you dont want to spent too much. If you get a pentium 4 system its gonna cost you 100-200$ more, but of course its going to be siginficantly faster.
It's a nice computer at a good price, but it still needs a little bit of changing to make it better.
They changed it on me. The processor was a Celeron 1.7ghz. But it was changed for the better.
Celerons are crap. Either get a pentium 4 or a Athlon XP.
i don't know too much about celeron but i've heard good things about the later version of celeron, and they're very good overclockers
thats not what i've herd. there OK for some applications, but for gaming there crap cause of the tiny 128k cache. It might OC well, i dunno. A P4C 2.4Ghz will OC to 2.88Ghz with no problems what-so-ever, at least mine dose : )
The newest celerons still have the tiny 128k cache too, so there probbly still crapola.
true the L2 cache is still a problem. but for a lower budget, celeron is great chip i think, especially the newer C300A.
here's some info:

Well I orderd it. I added a 17" monitor and extra cooling fans to it. Hopefuly i'll have it the end of next week.
