God of War DVD9 multilanguage PAL version starts in English only!

Hallo to all,
I've downloaded from Emuparadise the ISO of the multilanguage PAL full version of God of War. I tested it with an emulator and as I launch it, it starts directly in English, displaying no language selection screen. Other games let me choose the language (God of War 2 DVD9 untouched for example). I downloaded a ripped version of God of War (a DVD single layer ISO) and it lets me choose and set my idiom.
How can I do to run my untouched ISO of Kratos in a proper language?

If the game is multi language with no language sellection then you would need to set that via the console bios rather than the game itself or it might be in settings within in the game itself

I tried both the version: the "untouched" on EP (DVD9) and a ripped one (DVD5); both of them are PAL and multilanguage but the ripped one has the selection screen and the "untouched" has not! So it's not a matter of selections within the game; the last resort is to set the BIOS... can you help me? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure the EP DVD9 is PAL then, if the DVD5 rip has the language selection but the DVD9 copy does not that seems very odd to me, they should be both the same, the only difference is bonus FMV is ripped usually from the DVD5 version, so all in game FMV's are there it's unlockable FMV that is missing from the DVD5 versions (usually there may be more ripped from the PAL version though)

Sounds like you either downloaded the wrong version by mistake or we have the mixed up what we have on the main site, check the contents of the iso of each and make sure the SLES-XXX.XX file is the same in both ISO's

I downloaded the DVD9 version a couple of time to exclude download errors from Emuparadise, so you wrote PAL multilanguage on the forum and I made no error. Unluckly I don't have the SLES number on the DVD9 version and I erased the DVD5 version from my HD. Probably you uploaded an English version and accidentally wrote on the forum it was multilanguage. Or not? Unfortunately on eMule there is no sign of a DVD9 PAL multilanguage version. If I don't find what I'm looking for, I keep Kratos speaking English! :nod:

The main site has PS2 ISO's including the game you are talking about I recommend you get it from the main site not the forum

No Zorlon, I understood the problem: I'm stupid. It's sad but true. After thinking about the ISo and the forum I found strange I was the only having this problem... So I ran the emulator (PCSX2 latest version) by full (not fast) boot and the emulated Playstation asked me to set the language and the other stuff... after I launched God of War it started in Italian without selection screen. I'm very sorry, please excuse me, your ISOs are perfect.
