PCSX2 Configuration

Hello all~ I downloaded PCSX2 0. 9. 8 yesterday, and when I click Next on the configuration screen, this pops up:

The selected GS plugin failed to load.

Reason: The plugin reports that your hardware or software/drivers are not supported.

C:\Program Files\PCSX2 0.9.8\Plugins\gsdx-sse2-r4600.dll

This happens no matter what I select, except the path above changes with the selection. Anyone know what to do?

Try to delete PCSX2 and re-download a fresh copy, then follow this guide.

( You want a fresh copy to ensure it's unmodified and to ensure minimal errors. )

I redownloaded it, but when I tried to update the directx libraries, it says:

Setup could not download the file. Please retry later or check network connection.

Did you use the config guide? I also recommend checking out official PCSX2 forums to see if similar topics have been posted.

This may not be completely up to date, but it is still very accurate. You may also find video guides on YouTube.

Before continuing the setup of PCSX2, a computer restart may be a good idea in case another program is interfering with PCSX2 setup.
