In case you need help with Virtual Dub, I found a guide that tells you how to combine different AVI files into one big file, in case your movie is split up into several parts. Hope it helps you. :)

Just keep in mind that the quality of an avi will very, based
on the following:

One last thing.
You always should check the last couple frames of part
one to make sure it is in sync with part 2.
if it isnt, you will need to delete some frames with VD.
VCDhelp is the one of the best overall sites I have ever seen. Their info and tutorials are top-notch. I also use VirtualDub and TMPEnc, so if you have enough memory, creating VCD's is a snap.
Thanks for the replies people, so all I have to do is create a VCD from the DIVX Movie using those programs... I should be able to do it...
I managed to burn the VCD, but with slight problems, unsynchronised sound and fluctuating frame rate. But they're quite minor so I can still watch the movie. And thanks again.
the VCDhelp had an section to fix syn problem or you can leave you post at their forum
hope it will help you
