InsightPoint - Capable freeware Photoshop clone. Used it to make my "Carbon Dog" Halloween sigpic, and a couple different band/event posters. Works great for me, and the price is right. :biggrin:

I heard the best of the best are, Gimp, Inkscape (better than Illustrator), and Synfig (Better than Flash)

What are those, photoshop or ill?

Painter and Painter Sketch-Up are geared toward image creation.
Paint Shop Pro is image and photo editing.
Draw is similar to Illustrator.

None are free.
