I used zsnes also. It is the best one, I think.
You can post broken links here: http://www.epforums.org/comments-sug...-f9/index.html
Why can't you get the save files to work ?? In my opinion, ZSNES is the BEST SNES emulator out there :)
Am just guessing but, make sure you haven't put the ZSNES folder to "read only" and thats why its not saving or whatever the problem you're having with your ZSNES.
Also make sure to get the latest version from the official website...
http://www.zsnes.com/
Post us your problems, and we'll try to solve em :)
Edit: For the best results and viewing pleasure, I always keep my ZSNES video settings to 800x600 DR-F. You can adjust these settings in the CONFIG => VIDEO window :)
Welcome to the awesome world of Emulation ;)
well heres the weird thing, I dont actually have a folder for it. there's just 3 files in my "my document" folder. a .dat, a .cfg, and a .exe file.
I have attached herewith the latest version of ZSNES. Download that and unzip it in a folder or if you have winzip installed, just right click on it and select "Extract to folder X" which will make a new folder named "zsnesw151" and it will extract the program into it. Inside that folder, make a folder named ROMS and put all your roms in it and start it up by double clicking zsnesw.exe.
See if it works properly now. If you still got some problem, tell us what it is, aka what exactly are you having trouble with or what problem are you facing :)
Also make sure you have the latest version of Directx, at least Directx 9.0c :) To check which version of DirectX you currently have, click Start => Run and in that window type "dxdiag" and it should pop up a window stating the version of DirectX that is installed on your comp :)
why should i keep the roms in the same folder as the emulator?
its working alright, but i havent had a chance to test the save files yet
edit: and while i'm at it, what are good action/adventure games for the snes for me to get while i'm at it?
(whoops)
