A band you like, but you feel dumb for liking
Alright there's always that band you like but most people you know hates them and you feel all stupid and different. Well this is the case for me, sometimes.
This band would be Skinny Puppy, seriously, why do I even listen to these guys. The first time I heard the album Too Dark Park I was so amazed I downloaded like 5 more SP CDs and showed them to my friends too see their reactions. Their reactions weren't what I thought it was going to be, "Whoa this is some really werid, but cool music you got here." no it was more like this, "This is the most utter lamest music I've ever heard. The lyrics are lame, the music is lame, and there is some many lame things going on at once". Once I heard their reactions I immediatly took the CD out and listened to the radio on the way home.
I'll try making a little analogy here, Skinny Puppy is like masturbaition. It's great to do by yourself, you can do it with other people but it's just weird. Ok, I'm bad at making analogies so I'll stop now, before I make myself look even more dumb.
Anyways, I think you get the point of the thread. If not, just point your finger and laugh. I'll think your laughing with me, not at me.
