Soldier on dude!!!!
I should really give Mass Effect another chance one day. Couldn't stand it the first time and quit.

Soldier on dude!!!!

Yeah. I played about 20 minutes when it was first released and couldn't really get into the game. Tried giving the second installment a try, and it was the same result. Haven't touched the third.
But I figured since I have 300+ games on Steam, and I have only played about 20 of them, and that I also stopped playing all things MMO. Figured I should start checking games off my "Play these games you dumbass" list.
Playing some Soldier Front 2, getting acquainted with all the competitive pro's there, I usually suck at FPS games but I'm considered somewhat decent in this one, might as well keep playing.
Borderlands 2, Regular Campaign, and Captain Scarlett DLC. :D
MGS3: Snake Eater :platinum:
I love Metal Gear.
You sir have good taste in games then
I am so close to :platinum: in Peacewalker, I just have to find a bunch of random outfits that I missed. I did however help Crusher get his :platinum: in PW the other day  I don't trophy hunt many games, but I have the :platinum: in MGS2, 3 and 4 - gotta finish the series
I'm on my way in MGS2 with 85%. However I'm terrified about the sniper VR missions when protecting Meryl. And as for MGS4, you are a shiny golden god.
Oh and after I finish a play through of the last of us (being bullied into it, the game bores the crap out of me) I will be starting peace walker.
MGS2 was a bit of a grind - there are sooooo many VR missions it isn't even funny
MGS4 was seriously a pain in the ass. It took me 9 playthroughs to unlock everything, and some of those animal rankings you need are just horrible to get, like the chicken rank. I had to let my PS3 stay on for over two full days just to accumulate the amount of time needed for that rank.
As for PW, you will need a buddy in order to get at least one of the trophies, the Camaraderie trophy. You need to acquire 20k points cooperatively, and the only way to really pull it off is to play with the same people. Crusher showed me a trick he learned to help boost points a bit, but it's pretty late in the game before you can do that. If you need someone to play that game with you and help you S rank every mission or something, let me know, I'd be glad to help. Crusher and I played through almost the entire game, and I'm sure he'd be glad to help as well (not that I'm volunteering his services ).
I've a decent section of VR missions done, but I still have to finish the game on extreme with all the dog tags and such. I picked up another copy of MGS4 after it was patched with trophies but haven't gotten around to playing it properly! Cant imagine I will ever go for that platinum though. As for peace walker one of the guys I live with is also a big gamer and he has it so he was gonna help me with the Camaraderie trophy. Thanks though :)
Think I'll start PW now.
Borderlands.
Now need to clean up a lot of stuff for the :platinum:
Feels better to have actually played it in co-op properly this time. I didn't have a clue what was happening when Steve and screwed played it for me. Thanks though guys! :x
Beat Xillia earlier today. Twas good.
Touhou Kishinjou
Good lord Stages 5 and 6....
Finished Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire with my 9 year old nephew. This is my favorite PC Engine shooter thus far.
Mass Effect 2 (18 Hours)
Now I'm onto Mass Effect 3, then onto another series.
Edit - Feels good to be unshackled from MMOs. Finally get to play the games I have always to play without the pressure of logging on and doing dailies or dungeons. What a waste.
Need for Speed - Most wanted again... I guess.
Decided to return since that last trophy glitched on me. Went back through it and picked off the last single player, just need 3 multiplayer trophies and I'm done. :D
Megaman 1 and 3!
Beat Dragon's Crown (PS3) last night. Unlocked Hard mode, so I guess I'll give it another go
I really want to try a new character, but I don't like how it takes about 6 hours before you can open up the network play option - I don't couch co-op this game, so I'm stuck by myself for the initial slog. Oh well, I still think it's a great game
Terminator Salvation :platinum:
Thats number 11. Going to attempt Demons souls now for number 12.
Beat Duck Tales Remastered today. Excellent remake and one of my favorite games of this year! I hope it sells so we get Duck Tales 2, Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck too! :)
Demons Souls :platinum:
That's number 12. Pondering whether or not to get the Japanese one. My main bother this time round was I forgot how unforgiving stage 4-2 was. That place really requires patience and when the boss of that level kills you in one go it can get very frustrating.
Just finished ME3 again. For once, I am very satisfied with the ending. :]
If i'm not mistaken, I think Tales of phantasia might have been the last game I beat.
Modern Warfare 3 on PC. Everytime I see the ending I'm very satisfied with it. :D
Mega man's 1-10 excluding 7 and 8 have been completed :>
Metal Gear Solid 3 (Vita)
10 hours play time on easy, absorbing every cut scene and conversation over the radio.
Loved every minute of it. :D
3Ds ocarina of time..I miss zelda games.
I've beaten them all :/ and i cant get Links Awakening DX to work on emulator, sigh.
Just finished Final Fantasy VI.
Just beat Hate Plus, basically I liked it quite a bit but I still prefer the original Analgoue.
Duck Tales Remastered on Easy and Hard. Going through on Extreme right now.
This game is awesome. :nerd: My son absolutely loves it as well -- he finished a couple levels on his own before I woke up this morning. I was shocked.
Duck tales?
It's a remake of the Duck Tales game for the NES. Updated graphics, level changes, incorporates the storyline into cutscenes, increases the difficulty a bit, etc, etc. The Disney NES and SNES games are usually regarded as some of the best television/movie tie-in games, and Duck Tales is usually one of the favourites.
Plus, it's fucking Duck Tales. Everyone loves Duck Tales. (Woo-ooo).
Spoiler warning:
Bullet Report
Short game but there are some unfinished business needed to be done
Silent hill Downpour.
I was surprised by how much I liked it. Obviously there are some elements that are a big change from the series as a whole (the nightmare levels just involve you escaping a black hole) but I think the story and how it was told, as well as the shitty shitty combat, fits perfectly into the series.
Its not a perfect game, but its definitely a step in the right direction after that homecoming shite.
Starting the second playthrough as soon as I get some time to myself, hopefully that will be the next :platinum:
It's not that bad really
The other world/nightmare stuff is pretty funny...like when you're running and screaming like a prison bitch.
Yeah, I don't like Homecoming all that much either...when I first played it I found it more disappointing than the first time I played The Room years ago.
Edit: I still haven't done the no kill playthrough of Downpour yet.
I didn't even finish homecoming, was just disgusted by everything it was. The first time I met the big thing that walks on its hands (or stumps) I dodged each attack perfectly and had a really cinematic battle with it and I couldn't help thinking, this is bullshit! They got it so wrong with that game.
I was just starting my no kill playthrough. I missed about six side quests the first time through though :(
I think this time I'll pick off a few more, do that extra quest and no kills. After that i'll do the hard playthrough, then one more to clean up the rest of the trophies I need. Which will just be quests.
