Volt White 2
I'm emuating Final Fantasy 8, I'm enjoying it thus far.
Some shitty old JRPGs.
Last one was probably Vay. It's as bad as I remember it. Lulzorz.
Yes it is. Lol.
Playing some X-com. Attempting for trophies at the moment including for the one where you beat the game starting from 5 different continents. I could try and do the iron man and impossible mode challenges in there too, but I'd rather start a fresh game with an advantageous starting position.
I'll load it up after I've downloaded Street Fighter X Tekken to my PS3. :D
I completely forgot about need for speed MW. All I need is the online trophies :O
So hey people did you hear about this game called Grand Theft Auto 5 or something like that? It's pretty nice...
The fuck? FIVE? Must be some shitty indie game that releases a new 2 hour campaign and multiplayer map pack every year and calls it a sequel.
I've never heard of it.
You guys should definitely try it sometime! Could be this year's sleeper hit! :O
I dunno, I see that new Batman game being the sleeper hit of 2013.
I mean, a gritty reboot and origin story of Batman?
What a unique and novel idea! It's too different from everything else superhero media has been doing lately, especially batman stuff though. So I kinda doubt anyone will be picking it up until it drops in price.
Madden 25 is the obvious sleeper hit choice.
Kalameet's tail is mine :whoo:
Who's next?
Besides what I mentioned before: Tales of Destiny 2, and some Blazblue on PSP.
I just assume people mean Eternia when they say that. I'm right 99% of the time.
NCAA FOOTBALL 14. FOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTBAAAAAALLLLLLLLL.
Many people don't even know there's an actual Destiny 2, so yeah I'd say Gyp is right.
/jarpig hipster
99 Spirits
I'm going to get my notepad and pencil ready because...
Started Dies irae the other day (http://vndb.org/v548), seems like Fate/stay night done right.
Other than that I'm still soldiering through FF Type-0 and playing/translating Sol Trigger. And a bit of Lords of Shadow, but honestly I'm going at a snail's pace so maybe I'll beat it sometime in 2018.
Started the Killzone HD remaster on PS3 earlier, playing on easy, got up to level 5 so far.
So clunky, you can tell it's a PS2 era-FPS
Magic Knight Rayearth
But just barely, because football all weekend.
Playing the Morrowind Total Conversion mod Arktwend.
It's working some good nostalgia while still being a new experience, although some of the vague objectives really damper that experience. If somebody hadn't already asked on SureAI's forum, I'd have never discovered you need to join the Thieves guild to advance the story--so I'd have never advanced the story.
And while Morrowind remains my favorite Elder Squirrel, because of all the different factions you can join, and the fact that raising in the ranks actually feels like an accomplishment (unlike in later games). . . and the fact you can fly, and the lore felt more immersive. . .
playing it a mere 8 months after Skyrim really highlights how far graphics have come.
been playing skate3 on 360. i wonder if we'll get a skate4 even; though i doubt it due to the poor sales on the last few skating games.
Got Tales of Xillia two days ago. One word:Amazing.
F1 2013 (PS3)
:D
I rarely play Shemps, because
1. I suck
2. No exploration or story
3. I suck
But ∀kashicverse - Malicious Wake is friggin A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Already gave my entire morning to it.
The shield allows me to take some damage rather than just watching myself blow up continuously like in most bullethells, and rather than the boring old bombs, there's a plethora of badass special moves you can use with d-pad combos, making it both varied and strategic.
And the abstract aesthetics and immersive beat really suck you in.
For an indie game, I think I like this more than Ikaruga and Psyvariar 2.
And completely random comment: I recently learned Final Fantasy XIII 2 was co-developed by Tri-Ace. Suddenly, I give a damn.
