Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. :platinum:
I am gonna be finishing Paper Mario Thousand Year Door tomorrow :D.
Super Shinobi,Shadow Dancer,Super Shinobi II. (Emu-Kega)
Persona 4 Golden (Vita)
Beat it, loved it, can't wait to see Persona 5. I really want to dabble in the New Game + mode, but I should probably move on to some other games in the ever-growing backlog of shame
9/10
God Of War Ascension.
That Trial of Archimedes part is really hard to beat.
Dead Rising 2 Off the Record :platinum:
Only had to beat the coop challenges.
I cant remember when I posted here last.. Finished a bunch of stuff.. Tomb raider, MGS2, AC3.. eh.. Anyway, going to try and pick up a few more platinum's so gonna run through AC2 today, hopefully ill have that done by this evening. :D
Not sure if you mean you've run out or you're not gonna play them anymore. :?
I'm not going to play them anymore. I'm absolutely burned out on the franchise -- it feels like I've played the same game four times now.
I liken it to the Mega Man franchise. Towards the 4th and 5th games, it was starting to get pretty stale. It wasn't until there was a major change-up to the series (Mega Man X) that it was really revitalized again. God of War seems to have gone the same route for me -- the weapons change each game, the storyline is slightly different, but it's largely the same thing over and over and over again. I think it works for Mega Man because they are short titles that can be completed in 1-2 hours. -- it doesn't work so well for God of War, since you have to dedicate 8-10 hours to each playthrough.
My opinion, anyways.
Sleeping Dogs :platinum:
Not bad, it's like GTAs little brother. Took me longer than I thought to mop stuff up and that level 10 Triad was a bit of a pain in the ass to get. Not bad for 5 days!!!! Total playtime was around 36 hours.
Finished Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (late post did this at least a week ago XD).
Raystorm
iNFAMOUS 2 (Evil)
If by beating you mean doing the 24hr long endurance races than I haven't beaten the game but I did almost everything but them, the game was fun but towards the end it became a chore.
Criminal Girls
And I thought I am totally screwed...guess not! It's a complete win-win in the end!
FFXIII :platinum: Oh god this took longer than I would have liked. At least its out of the way. I can't see myself ever playing this game again.
Finished Persona PSP remake and gotta say 10 outta 10 here. Beautifully redone and far superior to the original awful PSX excuse *cough Red haired protag im looking at you cough*.
Demons souls :platinum:
Lots of fun. Some bits were infuriating, but it was satisfying when it was all over :D
Gun Nac - Nes
Decent Shmup!!!(:
Shadow Hearts and Onimusha: Warlords.
Aliens Colonial Marines.
So so bad. Easily one of the worst games I've ever played. I enjoyed Hannah Montana The Movie on the 360 more than this. Yeah.
In the last week I've completed both pokemon platinum & black, or at least, have beaten the elite 4. I'll probably go back at some point and do some of the post elite four stuff but in the meantime, good enough :)
Just beat Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge for PS3. I had started it on Hard, but it was pretty unforgiving (even though I'm good at NG1 and 2 on the hardest difficulties), so I dropped it down to Normal and tore through it pretty quickly. I'm definitely going to play it on Hard now, since I've gotten down the mechanics pretty well - it plays a little differently than the previous games.
Graphically the game looks pretty nice - lots of nice details on Ryu and other main characters, and it's soooo bloody that you won't even be able to see how generic the enemies are once it starts to fly
The storyline is abysmal as always, but you don't play NG to have a story - you play to kill shit. The controls are pretty tight, but felt a little loose at points, and there are a couple of really generic areas that should have been axed altogether. There's a stealth mechanic that get's used 1 time in the game, early on, and then it's forgotten about..... Some of the bosses are pretty much direct rips from NG2, and in fact in the secret areas, the bosses are recycled from NG1 and 2. There's only 2 chapters where you use Ayane, which is a shame because she plays really well and almost seems faster than Ryu - she even has her own upgrade chart that you can work on.
Anyway, I enjoyed it, and if you want a fast paced action title, this definitely fits the bill then. 7/10
Starfy for the gba. Very cute and simple game. Similar to kirby.
Touhou Shinkirou ~ Hopeless Masquerade
Cleared Reimu's Story. And the theme's "Hope" so I am feeling some Wizard vibe methinks...
Dead space 2 on medium. Started my hardcore play-through, chapter 8 and two saves down.
If you can make it to the section just before the eye fuck up station before placing your save, you'll pretty much be golden.
Anyways. My son and I got the :platinum: for Cars 2 earlier today. Which is actually a pretty solid kiddie racing game. I was genuinely surprised at how fun it was. He absolutely loved the game, although he still needs to practice staying away from the walls.
The last thing I remember us finishing was Klonoa, and that was almost a month ago.
Oh, I did get the bad ending on Atelier Ayesha (and started NG+ for a different ending, lol).
Chugging along through FFV now~.
I was actually gonna send you a message asking where I should use my last save. :lol
Thanks Drag, its been pretty handy so far, died because I was stupid in chapter 3 and got myself surrounded by those baby things. Other than that the closest I came to dying was in the elevator in chapter 7. Hopefully finish it off tomorrow.
That was the most recommended place that I saw for placing the last save. Obviously it varies a bit, but there are a couple of instant death sections after that area that can be somewhat annoying. Also, that regenerating guy is a bit of an asshole, and the final boss fight can be a pain if you happen to screw up once or twice and have to redo multiple chapters to get back there.
You'll probably die a couple of times en route, though, so... good luck with that. :lol I had a hard time motivating myself after losing three chapters worth of progress.
Finally had a chance to complete Metal Gear: Peace Walker yesterday. And by the gods... By far my favourite game of the past two or three years, possibly as good if not better than MGS 3.
I have no idea how it didn't get an initial console release, the game just feels way to big to be confined to PSP (for as much as I love that broken little system).
Never before has a game depressed me so much, but, I'm proud to say Dead space 2 :platinum: Lost the will to live after being killed during the last boss fight, in a really cheap way. Also got killed 7 or 8 times just because I wasn't paying enough attention. Anyway, back to Ni No Kuni.
