I do still buy the odd random PS4 physical game even though both of my consoles are exploited and offline
Rare purchases now, and honestly most of the recent ones have been cheap promos.

There should still be a box in my Dads attic that has like 25 old Sierra games cib on 5.25 and 3.5 inch disks lol. Wonder what that stuff is worth now :lol
Welp high end for the original Space Quest looks to be 550 bucks!!!!!
Nope make that 1096 bucks!!!!!
Whoops that's new though. guess the 550 one is for a cib one.
Yeah old PC games can be worth a bit especially if they're big box complete :P
I've grabbed some over the years from work. Still need Daggerfall but it's hard to find complete.
550 might be CiB mint. So basically close to "like new" ?
Shit even old C64 tapes in original case are worth something now. Not much if they're like that, but years ago they weren't worth trying to sell.
Retro stuff has gone crazy. Some platforms, at some point, became worth something but now it has spread all around. Even some PS3/360 games fetch crazy prices.
Whenever I think about it, I hate myself for not importing (example) Metal Wolf Chaos from Japan years ago when it was reasonably priced.
Steel Battalion (boxed with controller rig) was never dirt cheap really, but it just seems to be going up even used.
Still, I have collected a lot of random shit over the years and could make quite a few dollars flipping stuff I have here.
I should do it, but keep putting it off.
It isn't just games I have other things... I guess carded Star Wars figures would be the best starting point with the other stuff.
:gimp:
I'm sick to death of people replying to questions about offers with "I know what this is worth".
Fucking retards :lol
Well I sometimes shoot an offer, gets auto-rejected and then I message the seller asking for more info/pics.
Mention my offer might've been low because I was assuming the worst (as in stuff that couldn't be seen).
But yeah some of them reply with that shit instead of actually giving detailed pics and explaining any possible faults etc.
Ebay has become pretty dumb now, but sometimes I come across some ok stuff. It's just a lot of work so I take huge breaks from it completely :lol
Crap, screen on my tablet died. Was so nice going out back on the weekends with some Family Guy or whatever and a cold beer or 3.
Listen to music on your phone, using headphones, and just watch old guys fight club
Old guys fight club?
Picked up a cheap Amazon Fire. Kinda weird. It's a fork of Android with all their Amazon bloatware. I'm figuring it out though. Bypassed the stupid Amazon registration and was able to access the browser at least and I'll go from there. Found a tutorial to scrap that shit and install the google play store, at least I can get Firefox and start downloading my regular apps and shit. But tomorrow, it's pretty late now but it's a start.
Yeah didn't the old guys there fight out the back sometimes when they had been drinking? :lol
Going to post an RE2 DC mod later on, would appreciate if someone could test it out (my DC is packed away atm).
Oh. Yeah. Different group of people mostly that come out after dinner. The instigators are so drunk from drinking all day they usually go home have dinner and slowly pass out which allows the happy good people to come out and have a few drinks without all the drama.
The hottest woman in the building comes out around then for a cocktail or 2 as well :hello:
Actually that RE2 Special Edition is GDI.
do you guys know what format amazons kindle books are in?
ah ok I was looking at some books earlier that caught my interest but the physical copies are too pricey for me(other than some used copies)and was wondering what format they were in and I seen that they are offering their own free app so I thought they might be in pdf but kinda figured they wouldn't be.
I tried burning off a new version of DS and it didn't want to work for some reason.
There are so many of them that I have no idea what I'm looking for. I saw something about needing a new PSU when I skimmed around a few minutes ago. I also seem to recall reading something about the DC needing a disc spinning for airflow, no idea if that's right though .
I don't have much drive to look into GDEmu since there's not a lot I'd be interested in playing on it at this point.
I have GDEMU clone and got a cheap pico psu. The pico cost less than $15 but I didn't order it from China (would've been cheaper back then).
Besides that you don't need anything, I've read that you can use original PSU but you need to do a resistor mod (it isn't permanent).
I went with the pico myself, my psu was Japanese anyway so I eliminated the need for an external step-down (I have a couple of them, but I prefer this DC setup).
Nope, no cooling issues with my unit. Still has original fan... I haven't done the noctua fan mod :)
DC consoles are easier to get over there for a reasonable price... so if I was in that position I'd have two of them, one with GDEMU and one untouched to play retail/unlicensed/backup discs.
For GDEMU clone you can't update firmware. But the main 2 games I'm aware of issues with:
D2
RE CV
D2 I don't think there's a fix for clone GDEMU atm, but CV there's a fix. I've posted fixed versions of CV and CV:X here.
I think I've still got 3 or 4 spares lying around.
I just got the pico basic kit.
Used a Wii power supply to run it for a bit (just a jury rig job), but now I've got a couple of other power supplies (12v 5A) with the correct plug.
