Fucking hell, Dirt 3 will be updated and ready to play in 2 hours time. :fist:
If money was no object, I still wouldn't spend more than $200 on any pair of headphones, custom or not. My ears are shot enough that it wouldn't mean much to have load balanced cans that require a hardware amp and can only be used to listen to studio masters through Pro-Tools on M-Audio output. D:
Having some weird graphical issues with Dirt 3, not sure if it's my TV or a problem with the actual game. But the sun's reflection in the game is red. The game's sound is going jittery every other second, but the game's running at a consistent framerate.
Spoiler warning:
Now it's just BSOD when installing the new driver. :-/
Haven't played a game in 3 days. :O
Third time lucky, I got the driver on.
Fuck tetris, not enough rpg elements. might download something from the psx section and play it on the way up.
I might play Desperados again on the pc, I haven't played it in years and I had a terrible micro when I first played it.
The BSOD wasn't nice.
24X SSAA or else .
So, I completely disassembled one of my Sanwa OBSF-30 pushbuttons. What I found was startling and interesting.
One, they extremely easy to disassemble overal. Two, the leads for the microswitches ARE the microswitches. Three, inside the microswitch housing, there is a small ball bearing that acts as the actuator (it was startling to learn this because I almost lost the fucking thing). Four, I have no need to ever disassemble one of these buttons this far down again.
Hahaha PC Gaming. Talking about anti-aliasing. LOL, MY CONSOLE DOES IT FOR ME. AT A (typical) FRAMERATE OF 60FPS.
