With the amount of whining and complaining that some of them do, it could be considered co-ed.
Hooray Vancouver! <:>
"... some guy from Vancouver has the puck! Oh, he gives it to some guy from San Jose! Great save! Well... mediocre save, but still. It's not in the net! Wow, that fucker just dove in front of him. Launched him into the linesman. They all look shaken."
... seriously. Someone from San Jose (didn't catch who) dove in front of Burrows, tripped him, and launched him into the linesman. It was actually pretty funny.
Holy fuck, nice save! Thank God, Luongo is actually on his game right now. Now just gotta get the puck out of our zone. Sharks are outshooting Vancouver 10-3 right now. Refs just missed a high sticking call against San Jose. Some guy whose name I can't pronounce got his stick up into the face of Mason Raymond. Crowd's pretty pissed.
: + drag + : = :drag:
:lol
:drag:
Oh, fuck you. ;_;
Could it be just a tab bit smaller?
Wow. Lotta blown tires in this game. Either they are all beat up and tired, or they've all forgotten how to skate.
Just under four minutes left in the first overtime. Face off in Sharks zone. So far, it's been a heavily dominating period for the Sharks. Probably three quarters of the possession time in this period has been for the Sharks. Couple of great saves -- Niemi made a spectacular one a couple of minutes ago, and Luongo just made a critical one. Also, the Sharks have learned -- after what happened last game -- to be prepared right from the face off. Last game, Canucks got 3 goals in under two minutes right off the face off each goal. 'course, they were also on a two man advantage for all three goals.
Come on guys!
End of first overtime.
Couple of pretty good wrap around attempts, couple more great saves. Most notable thing this period (and really, this game) is the surprising lack of penalties. A lot of slashing, high sticking and tripping calls haven't been called -- the refs are just letting them play.
Also, Sharks have an astounding 52 shots on goal this game, compared to the Canucks' 29. :doink:
Just loaded up Bioshock 2 and connected to Games for Windows Live.
Oh how I have missed those Xbox Live sounds :<3:
Still being dominated by the Sharks. About five minutes into the second overtime. A bunch more great saves by Luongo -- Niemi hasn't really been tested yet.
Holy fuck, HUGE hit. Kesler just got nailed by Murray, demolition derby style.
Murray plays for the Sharks. Kesler plays for the Canucks.
Could have been a penalty -- he hit Kesler in the head with his shoulder -- but they've been pretty lax with the penalty calls this game. It was like a freight train, though.
Also, Burrows (... was it Burrows? I forget already) just had a breakaway and Niemi made a great save. We're starting to get some good attempts in now, but the fourth line hasn't played in a long time -- they should be getting in there, instead of relying on the Sedins and the first three lines, who ar---
FUCK YES
BIEKSA SCORES, MOTHERFUCKERS!!
Stanley Cup Finals, here we fucking come!
Wish I could have seen it. Whats the score? Are we really going to finals?
Yes, we. I have now adopted them as my own.
Final score: 3-2 for the Canucks.
Canucks just won the Western Conference Finals, which means they are going to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. They will face whoever wins the Boston v. Tampa Bay series, who are playing in the Eastern Conference finals at the moment. Boston leads that series 3-2. If Boston wins tomorrow, it will be a Vancouver v. Boston Stanley Cup Final. If Tampa wins, it'll be Vancouver v. Tampa
