So recently I've been looking at hacks, ports and homebrew on SMS. It's pretty impressive what's out there atm.

yeah, i noticed that this year is a bit too warm for a winter.

Edit: in these days, i heard it's around 11 Celsius minimum. (16C maximum) But the "usual" temperature is 6C minimum. Something changed, i'm sure of that.

finished playing a crappy fps yesterday called gore and decided to grab area 51(2005) after installing it and finding out that I had to install the update for it to be playable >.> I set everything up I finally get to actually playing it. it's a fucking slideshow I tried adjusting the settings to no avail. it really boggles my mind that this desktop can run stalker soc at high settings but can't even run this game at playable speeds sigh :(
I was also playing a game called chrome specforce it's pretty cool it has a power suit like crysis(though the stealth seems broken)and an inventory system(which is kinda dumb for a game like that)it's also a squad based fps I really don't care for squad based(mostly due to dumb ass partner ai). I stopped playing it because part 2 of mission 2 is impossible to finish. you have to escape an enemy base on star wars like speeders but the catch is you have to stay close to the leader doesn't sound too hard right? wrong yuo can be right next to him and still somehow fail the mission you can also fail the mission if you or your partners bikes get destroyed which isn't hard since the damn thing take damage every time they bump into something and the player takes the brunt of the damage from the gunship that's chasing you.
the game really had potential if it wasn't squad based.

Possibly a driver issue on Area 51. If SpecForce has co-op I'd be willing to give it a try with you.

I had to go to the PO in the nearby city because the package mail has been getting dumped back there every day since Monday :mad:. It's been nothing but trouble since the previous USPS route carrier retired. The replacement is mildly competent but refuses to take all my mail to my PO box (USPS box, not a 3rd party). That employee has apparently been gone all week and the replacements, despite being informed and having a key, have had a slew of excuses to not deliver stuff to the local PO :explode:. I'm still waiting on one but at least I got most of it today.

seems likely. I messed with everything I could, I ended up uninstalling it. specforce doesn't have co-op but does have multiplayer(which is likely dead)
I have a couple other games installed that I haven't got to yet(I just haven't been in the mood for any rpgs)and a list of other games to grab.
I'm currently looking at grabbing western outlaw or mafia city of lost heaven.

Work has changed policy just recently.

Back when I started years ago we had a police & working with children check done before commencing employment - no big deal, most places do that.

We also have in-house refreshers about working with children and special needs people, it's just a quick online thing you do at work - no big deal with that either, I've done it a few times since I've been there.

Now all current employees have to do another complete police & working with children check, not just a normal one with 3 bits of ID, but a fucking convoluted application (through contracted company, not state police) that needs 4 bits of ID...
Reading the wording of these forms makes me think that we possibly might need to do this at least once per year... maybe more frequently than that idk, because I see mention in there of "80 days" and also "if a police check was issued in the last 3 months there is no need to complete this application".

grabbed western outlaw last night it's an ok western themed fps it's got some clipping issues and some funny graphics issues haven't noticed any other issues so far.

Oh neat they're filming a tv show or movie or something at the park just down the street from me.

Those fake GCLoader clones that have been around for a while were always a joke - it can only play games from SD2SP or micro SD Gecko adapters :wacko:
Picoboot does pretty much the same thing (play games from SD2SP) and you have like 3 boot options, so you can go straight into Game Boy player by holding a controller button on boot.
Grab an RPi Pico for pocket change, do some soldering and flash some code via usb.

So I saw that the Saints Row re-boot is getting mixed reviews, mostly not so good reviews. Guess I can pick it up on a deep discount in the not so distant future. Not sure if I want to play it, looking at gameplay vids, it looks pretty bland. But it could be one of those games that is fun in short bursts or possibly obtain a cult-like status.
