Myself and a friend recently launched a new gaming network called Bodhum. We want to build a collection of useful digital products like fansites, mobile apps, forums, blogs, online magazines, etc...
I can help with almost all of the backend stuff. I'm very comfortable coding in HTML5/CSS3/JS/PHP and we also have extra space on our web servers. Under Bodhum we can also throw together some money to purchase new domain names. What we really need are some great ideas from passionate gaming fans.
If anybody would want to help write content or manage a website idea definitely let me know. You can post in this thread, or just shoot me a PM. Additionally you can send me a direct e-mail through the Bodhum contact form.
Our goal is to build a bunch of high-quality digital products to help gamers. Right now we're looking into building fansites/forums on game series which are not totally flooded - Monster Rancher, YGO, Wild ARMs, Harvest Moon maybe? Any and all ideas are welcome :chill:

I'm still kinda working on it. The basics are there. I will add more content over time. I'm on a free host for now. The site will mainly focus on gaming in general.
That's good. That's probably a good idea, the host can probably be slow at times, but for a free host, it is pretty good.

I was wondering what I should do as part of the first birthday of my blog. I've already got a Q&A (which I need questions for) planned and I'd like to do something special.
Decided I'd whip up a quick webpage to stick in the "Your homepage" sections on website registrations. So um, here;
www.jenkins.webatu.com
I've decided to make mine a minecraft forum, for our server instead, and I also am running a subdomain from it, for iso's and the like for dreamcast games, and emulators :).
So finally, I've been away for quite some time here it is: http://www.minecraftfandoniam.com and the other is http://www.minecraftfandoniam.com/projectdreamcast :).
Hope to see some enthusiastic faces around my websites :).
Thanks,
Sonic_The_Hedgehog!

Here's a little pet site I've been working on for a while now. Something like Craigslist, only based strictly on trading and selling video games and things of that nature. Any criticism would be gladly accepted.

I would like to add more systems in the future along with some other things, maybe magazines, books, figurines, etc. Time is the one thing that I don't have much of, so I have to work on it in small pieces. I did make it responsive, so you can use it easily on a phone or tablet as well which I thought was quite important. Everything works pretty good so far, but the reason I haven't launched it is that I'm not happy with the search feature yet. I get it the way I want it, but then I realize that making it one way breaks another feature. Gotta love php :P
Edit: As an afterthought, I'm still not sure how I want the search to work. The way it is now, you can choose your state on the main page. Originally you could choose your city and state on the main page, but that seems a little counter intuitive because if nobody in your city has listings, then nothing shows up. Perhaps I will leave it the way it is now, because after you choose your state it gives you ALL listings for that state, then you can filter by your city. I'd like to be able to implement something like "search within 5 miles" but that's something i've never done before. I wish I had more time to mess with it. On a side note, it will be completely free and will pretty much moderate itself by letting the users flag posts and listings.
I think its a good idea, and I hope you are able to finish it and release it. A craigslist for just videogames would be awesome.
Not sure how many people still visit my site these days, but since atspace shut me down and the URL has changed again, I am visiting every emulation site to at least post the new link.
http://bhemuhelp.co.nf/
If you don't already know, my site started about a decade ago as a home for my N64 configuration list:
http://bhemuhelp.co.nf/n64mgcl/N64ConfigList.htm
This is the main attraction, but I have a bunch of other neat stuff on there as well.
Well that's everything, not much else to say except maybe hope you enjoy the site!
I recently created a new website that is also about emulators, it's called Emulation Central. Everything's free. You don't need a Email address to use the Forum. And I will start uploading things tomorrow. So enjoy my new site!

I was struck by the idea to create a ROM site that's designed to be lightweight and low on ads, by offering downloads through Bittorrent to save on bandwidth costs. Unlike general-purpose Bittorrent sites it'd be ROM's only and I'd try to vet the downloads to make sure they're high-quality and virus-free. (Discovering Emuparadise might make this goal a little redundant, but oh well.) I have a basic site thrown up with a little bit of content, and I'd welcome any suggestions or feedback on how I can improve it: http://romswarm.net/
Prima Guides and all about Nintendo, just go to www.NintendoMadness.com
http://djx-gamers.eu/
I don't update the news page much but the forums have always been active. We rebooted 8 days ago to this domain and hosting it's just a general gaming website but our community have always been the main reason anyone ever went there.
We allow discussion of emulation there since the programs themselves aren't illegal in the UK of course. But posting illegal stuff will probably warrant you an instant ban.
Previously in this thread I see a rom site. I hope you can afford to keep that site alive I'll see if it has any rom sets on it.
(you should force people to use OpenNIC DNS too because tracking by ISPs)
(okay, so it doesn't actually have rom sets on it and I don't care, but I REALLY like clean designs which load fast. better than unresponsive SHIT that is known as most of them. I hope you can add more ROMs to the site especially for lesser known consoles, good luck)
lol @ tracking by ISPs
We don't all live in police states
yeah but the UK is terrible the government don't know what they doing, we need to move zig for great justice.
