Yeah, my greatest desire for cell was actually to get a really nice computer with it and not the PS3 (although it will hopefully be awesome).

MOF most games for the next 1-3 years will only be running one thread, because of the cost and Time needed to make a Muti-threaded game... Half-Life 2... Doom 3... er.. And is not most Companys can't afford to sink that much time in to Development.
Also, Programs that are not programed to take advantage of the Specialized SPE's will only be able to on the PCP core... (IE everything your going to be running on your "Super Computer")
That one PCP core, is also less powerfull then your Current Gen Desktop computer chip. AMD 64, and P4's both out perforem the PCP core.
I really don't understand why everyone thinks they are going to be getting a Supercomputer... because your not. Your getting a Chip that was designed to run Muti-threaded games... And go in to specialy desigend Hardware systems.... You know like Military uses, and such.
BTW: the PS3 is $399 and the HDD with Linux, EST. $100 + Keyboard & Mouse is > $500
Well This has ventured way off topic. As cyber said in his post which I don't know if you can read, Case Closed.
