i tried to slap a quick comparison sheet for the xbox 360 and PS3, but as you can see it didn't work out all that great :D

i may be able to get it working, but in the mean time, for those that want to compare:
http://www.webnweb.com/vgames/html/p...n_3_specs.html
http://www.webnweb.com/vgames/html/xbox_360_specs.html
i personally say that (along with some of my fellow non-biased nerds at school) the PS3 is coming out on top, but we won't really be able to tell until they are officially released.
EDIT: found a new pic hosting service that offers 500k free :D this makes me happy... anyways, if you have zoom, you can view my comparison that i slapped together

@Panda Man... Here
Second Power does not matter... all the tech stats in the world don't mean a damd thing... The console that developers make games for will Win... it's that simple.
Because of this forgotten fact... I think the Revolution will win... because nintendo stressed that they would make sure it was cheap and easy to develop games.
While Sony and Microsoft are so consumed with pumping out the most Polys, they seemed to forget that they are greatly increasing the cost of development.
i don't recall saying that specs was everything. i just wanted to show how they stacked up against each other.Quote:

The PS3 definetly because I strongly believe that like it's older version,it ought to have a great variety of games.....
No matter how good the X Box 360 may turn out to be...if it doesn't have a good collection of games to back it up,it'll definetly lose against the PS 3.
But it may also be that Microsoft have realised their previous mistake and are working on easier development of games for the X Box 360.....then who knows what???
Well racing is my favourite genre, and the Xbox was way ahead of the PS2 in that field, and the same seems to be happening with the Xbox360. However there are a number of franchises for the PS that interest me, and I hope they come to the PS3. As I have said, I will get every console, as I am not a fanboy or whatever. This could be the first time in history though where Sony's console could actually be more exciting than its rivals. Can't wait.

Between the GCN and the XBOX, I don't know which is easier, though...

That's nice... what if... just what if... the Revolution is wicked powerfull with about half the cost of the PS3/360... and because of that it sells like crazy... and then it get's huge 3rd party support...Quote:

It's stupid to predict what will happen and which system will come out on top...
Especialy when we have not seen any real footage from any running console... yet.
Heh. I'm looking forward to 'em both, but I'm probably going to end up buying a 360 and passing on the PS3, at least at first. That is, if the price everyone's been speculating on for the PS3 pans out. I'm not willing to pay 500+ bucks for a console, when for not TOO much more, I can buy a new PC, and one that's up to date spec-wise. If the PS3 launches at a more reasonable price, then I'm all about getting one at or around its launch. We'll see, eh?
Oh yeah. The reason I haven't mentioned the Rev, is cause we still don't know much about it. I'm interested in it, but I'm holding out for more information before commiting....
Finaly to post what I think...
You know what I'm looking foward to the next generation as a whole.
In the end I see my self buying an Revolution and a PS3... kind of like my current set up...
Yes that's a great point...Quote:

i've yet to see a nintendo system be more powerful than its competitors since the debut of the PSX so i'm almost positive that the revo, in terms of power, cannot totally compete against the ps3 and 360. i don't care if they've shown anything or not, their reputation preceeds them as always, which is another reason why i don't need another system with rehashed nintendo games. another 3d mario platformer, another mario party, another mario kart, another mario everything. just sickens me sometimes to see the overuse of franchise characters, especially when almost nothing new is done with them.Quote:
