Finished Dishonored.
Well, played through the whole thing anyway
Trade in time
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. Yet another AA game that I rather enjoyed... I hope the translation of the sequel gets released/doesn't die off :P
Spectrum version of Manic Miner completed all 20 levels with no cheats on my first life...:ignore:
Dragon Age II :platinum:
Nanashi no Game (thanks to a translation patch). Kind of have mixed feelings about it, but overall I did enjoy it, despite the flaws.
Just finished Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. Overall the gameplay was great, and the story was decent enough to carry through the game. However, the rare drops (and souls even more so) seemed to pop up much too infrequently to be useful at all, considering I only got maybe 20% of all of them in one playthrough, even using a max luck cheat ;/
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale :platinum:
Decent multiplayer game, but the single player arcade is extremely monotonous. Other than the enemies, nothing ever changes during the entire thing. The stages are always the same, the formats are always the same, the boss is always the same, and it's never really difficult. I hated the fact that you had to use a Special Move to kill your opponent -- it makes it extremely difficult with some of the characters who use their Special Moves at odd angles, such as Sir Daniel, who attacks at a 45 degree angle that goes over the head of most opponents unless you're standing right next to them.
Multiplayer was better, but it's definitely the kind of game that works best as couch combat. There's no drama being built up as you attack your opponents -- you only attack to gain orbs to use your Special Moves, which makes the vast majority of combat boring, repetitive, and ultimately unnecessary. It's so obvious that it's trying so hard to be Playstation's Super Smash Bros., but it falls so drastically short that it's actually kind of sad.
Saint's Row - The Third. One of the funniest and most unpredictable games ever (probably beaten only by Conker's Bad Fur Day). I chose the good ending! Gangstaz in Space!
Final Fantasy II and Jade Cocoon
Doom: Knee Deep in the Dead (Ultra Violence)
Doom II: No Rest for the Living (Hey, Not Too Rough!)
After seeing how much trouble playing through No Rest for the Living gave me on the second easiest difficulty, I'm really glad I didn't attempt it on anything much harder. There are a lot of freakin' enemies in Doom II. I had forgotten. >.>
Final fantasy 3 ds and dragon quest 4 ds. going to start playing them again soon.
Kirby's Return to Dreamland 100% on Main Game and currently working on the Extra Game. Btw thumbs for this game luv Kirby :D
Sound Shapes :platinum:
Doom: The Shores of Hell (Ultra Violence)
Gotta start Inferno next, which is my least favourite episode. I loved the space station setting of the first episode (Knee Deep in the Dead) -- once they really started getting into the whole "alien invasion" world I gradually lost interest.
[ edit ]
Doom: Inferno (Ultra Violence)
Doom: Thy Flesh Consumed (Ultra Violence)
Fuck I hate Thy Flesh Consumed. >.> I had to save-spawn a couple of levels to make it through. Got stopped by a Cyberdemon for more than an hour in one of the later levels.
Castlevania - Rondo of Blood from Maria.
Still need to work hard to beat the game by Richter:dread:
Why you always play old games?
I beaten NFS Most Wanted (Android)
9mm
Mass effect infiltrator also
Forgot to mention I beat The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker the other day. Now I'm doing the 2nd Run through.
F1 2011 on PS3. I've played this game so many different times on different formats now. PC version is best, followed by 360, then PS3.
Anyway, was a nice easy 70%.
Time to finish up Far Cry 3 then move onto another PS3 game. I think I may jump back and forth between the two consoles like that.
Devil Summoner :Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. the Soulless Army (PS2).
Great, Now I have to decide another PS2 game to play through, So many choices.
Far Cry 3. GOTY 2012. Yes.
That is all.
NFS Most Wanted. Finished with the 10 dudes like, nearly finished with all the jack spots and billboards too. Then on to the online.
Finally finished Minish Cap. Enjoyed it, probably replay it at a later time.
Castlevania - Rondo of Blood at 100%
My most recent is Ratchet&Clank: All4One. (I would get more completed, if I'd stop game hopping. :ahhh: Too many games started!)
Wolfenstein 3D, all episodes on "Bring 'Em On" difficulty.
Single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran.
Phantasy Star 0. Was fun, but felt way too easy :P
Doom II on Ultra Violence.
Never again. :sad-no:
I beat Metro 2033 about a week back, was a good game overall, I liked the game overall but for some reason didn't really want to play much of it so it's having such a short campaign was a good idea.
I really like it, but I can understand why anyone, fan of the series or not, would think its a bit shit. My reasoning:
1. Only 5 lousy races per car
2. The modifying is a joke
3. The cops have down syndrome (I remember the cops being smarter in hot pursuit)
It all boils down to immersion, and this game lacks it. It definitely cant stand up to the likes of Forza, not with how shitty the driving is when you compare the two. So NFS needs to have more full games, and this one is extremely lacking.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days... without having to resort to cheating due to extremely hard-to-beat enemies that are extremely hard to beat.
...
Had trouble with the Ruler of the Sky and Dustflier Heartless, mostly.
I love the first Doom because even if you've never beaten the game before, everything is doable on Ultra Violence. There is a logical progression to how many enemies there are and how difficult each situation can be, and all the levels are just as large as they need to be, but never any larger.
In Doom II, it's less about "take your time and attempt to make it out alive" and more "HERE'S A SHITLOAD OF MASSIVELY OVERPOWERED ENEMIES HOPE YOU SAVED RECENTLY 'CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA DIE MOTHERFUCKER." I did so much save spamming towards the end of the game that it wasn't even fun anymore, it was just a really bad joke that went on for too long.
The reason I say this is because you're constantly put into situations where you can't actually hit your enemies. There were quite a few spots where there would be some Chaingun Zombies on the other side of the room who would essentially snipe me as soon as I entered, but the auto-aim wouldn't target them and shoot up enough to hit them. Therefore, I couldn't get anywhere and had to basically run the gauntlet until I found a good place to at least attempt to snipe them, and would waste 4x the amount of ammo necessary to kill them just in attempts to land a fucking bullet.
It got very annoying. I love the first Doom, but I was reminded why I never got around to finishing Doom II. There's only so long I can put up with that kind of bullshit.
I haven't played Doom 3 yet, so we'll see how that goes. I might need a bit of a break from Doom, though.
