Well idk about higher spec machines but I've always disabled it. Yeah it makes a difference if your machine is like a low end dual core with 8GB ram.
It's just fluff anyway.
Actually went back a dozen pages or so and he said it was a dual core amd with 6gb ram.
This lappy I'm on right now is amd dual core 8GB ram.
The CPU is an old E2 budget type (kinda like old Intel Atom), has radeon graphics (no dedicated gpu ram).
Looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi as started, I can see the first 2 eps up.
Hmm, seven of nine Stranger Things S4 episodes just dropped, with the last 2 coming in July. Weird release scheduled. Not sure if I'll just wait.
First season was actually good, that's why the show is popular. Other seasons were kinda meh, but watchable.
Finally found a nice complete promo copy of mgs4 :]
I should probably start doing some scans of covers I have now.... sometime soon
Should I also include a disc scan along with the cover?
May as well?
Starting to like that ST Strange new worlds show. It has that happy naive vibe that the original and tng had in most episodes.
any of you guys ever watch a show called Nash Bridges? it's on one of the local stations and I've thought about watching it a few times but haven't as I've been shying away from "modern" cop/detective shows(well modern shows in general.
I've heard the name but never seen an episode.
was playing duke mukem EP2 earlier I'm so close to beating it but I'm on a level that is frustrating as hell it's 90% conveyor belts that move fast so it makes jumping hard as hell. I'm also close to beating commander keen I couldn't make it to the secret level though getting to it was proving too hard so I said screw it.
:booger:
It sucks that a bunch of software is becoming Win 10 and above. Especially when it comes to gaming stuff. Win 7 just isn't going to cut it anymore. Hopefully I can pick up a SSD pretty soon. I plan to make my new build this year.
ok I'm going nuts now I got it into my head old sci-fi books I started thinking about some that I read years ago and now I'm trying to remember the name of one and it's driving me nuts. I was going to look for it but I stupidly deleted the collection of old sci-fi ebooks that I had and I threw away the backup I made of them.
I think it might have been called dirk gently something detective agency it was an old british sci-fi book that involved time travel(it wasn't Dr.Who) man I wish i wouldn't have thrown that disc out there was some ebooks on it I'd like to read again
was going through my old backups yesterday looking for those ebook backups I thought I had. I came across a folder full of old flash based freeware games that I can't remember where I got or why.
that sucks
I'll wait for a good deal on something down the line . I don't need to upgrade for anything in particular but it would've been nice.
So I tried installing Win 10 on a normal HDD, things didn't go well. I had an old back-up on another HDD, but it didn't have all my stuff up to date. So I lost a few things, at least most of them, I can re-download. I'll just install Win 10 when I get a SSD.
Moral of story: Always back-up before install/updating an OS. Unless you're doing a fresh install on a blank HDD/SSD.
