What I mean is...when AOL wanted to enter the Mexican Market they did it with horrible discs that fucked up your computer, and basically locked you from using a different ISP. (Of course, to the normal-user, the kind that sends their computers to repair when "It just doesn't turn on anymore. :P" ) But heck, it was annoying as hell.

DOS 6.22 came out while I had my first PC, so I guess we're talking about the same timeframe.

Heh. I remember logging into "the net" for the first time. And I was so disppointed that it looked the same as things I had already seen on my PC. I don't know what I was really expecting it to look like, but just another windo with some information on it wasn't as "OMG TEH NET" as I had expected.
