I've been playing the Mass Effect games again, although this time I'm doing it on PC. No more achievements to be had for 1 and 2 on Xbox, so I decided to go with sexy graphics this time, and since I'm not achievement whoring I'm making choices as I see fit. I finished ME1, and was pretty neutral, but as I'm halfway through ME2, I'm starting to be a bit more on the prickish side. We'll see how this all pans out...
A couple of things: Chrono Trigger 3x in a row with different endings, DKC2, and FF12 just for fun.
Beat Orcs Must Die!: 2, and Banjo-Kazooie on the 360. About time I beat that game. =) I actually recorded it too with my Roxio, so it might be my first official Roxio Video up on my YouTube. =P
Black Ops 2 veteran, easily the easiest yet. However it's also one of the best and most fun Call of Duty games.
No it's nothing new. No it won't blow your cock off. But if you like shooters/Call of Duty games, you'll enjoy it.

Finished Rage on Nightmare yesterday. I was less than impressed with the ending. And by that, I mean fuck that ending so hard. :disgust:
Also 100%ed Sonic the Hedgehog. Mainly 'cause I needed something lighthearted to take my mind off the clusterfuck that was Rage, before I go back and do my 100% playthrough of it. :wacko:

Recently beat Streets of Rage 2. Fun game and not too hard to beat.
Finally beat Castlevania 3 with Grant as my partner. Which, admittedly, shouldn't have taken that long since he's pretty awesome, but yeah. Not as easy to abuse as Syfa and Alucard.

I finished Shadow of the Beast on TG16/Duo, and actually played it again and finished it without dying (You almost have to... you get 1 life in the game and 2 continues). It only takes about 20 minutes once you memorize the enemy locations and know where to go and what to do. In short, I loved this game.... the soundtrack totally kicks ass (has that 80's synth vibe to it) and gets you pumped to smash some baddies. Disclaimer though, after doing some research on this game I've read that the TG16 version is pretty much the easiest version out there besides the FM Towns version, so I booted up the Amiga emulator to continue with the original and it's FAR harder. 1 life, no continues and shit hit detection, haha. Makes for a VERY challenging experience. The Genesis version is apparently the hardest out there, since it wasn't properly converted from the 50hz PAL original, and put into a 60hz NTSC game (which according to Wikipedia makes the game run 16.7% faster than it should). In other words, it screws up all the frames of animation and makes it balls hard to beat.
Anyway, onto Shadow of the Beast 2 - I tried the Amiga version, but there's some nasty stuff (actually having to type in questions to ask characters... and you need to know KEY words, and they're very esoteric without a manual or walkthrough), so I'm gonna give it a shot on Sega CD since that's supposed to be the most "forgiving" of all the ports.
Beat Record of Agarest War on Hard last night, also achieved True End. Now currently working on Agarest Zero.

Final Fantasy 1 GBA version. Gosh this was so enjoyable im so glad i failed on the game 2 other times before I finally concluded this thing.
Finished my second playthrough of Rage last night, grabbing all of the collectibles and whatnot this time. Going to attempt the multiplayer again today and then move onto something else.
Finished Shadow of the Beast 2 for Sega CD and also the Genesis port as well. I found the Genesis version to be easier, even though you have 1 life and no continues - the hit detection and controls are spot on.
However, the Sega CD version of this game is garbage. Controls are super stiff, your mace weapon has no distance in this version (in the Genny version it's like Rygar's Disk Armor), and the hit detection is absolutely terrible. They must have known this because they allow you up to 6 continues, which is unheard of for the Beast series since it's known for it's difficulty.

Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar. I had played and beaten Gregar before and I must say that Gregar is much better. The link-navis that you get in Gregar trump Falzar. I used only one link consistently in Falzar and that was Spoutman, in Gregar I used them all.

Super Mario Galaxy and i just got it on Friday :d'oh: (finished it yesterday).
Beat Dishonored the other day, lots of fun now I'm just patiently waiting for the sequel.
Start up Red Dead Redemption after that!
Was holding off saying until I polished off the last two trophies, but inFAMOUS 2, both paths. Guess that adds another :platinum: to the collection :wacko:
I Just Beat Chrono Trigger
This game affected me more deeply than any other game Ive ever played. Lavos to me is the greatest nemesis in a game Ive come across so far. Skip the next paragraph if you DONT want spoilers:
I was really depressed when I found out what Lavos really was, basically the farmer and harvester of humanity, manipulating history from the Black Omen. The fact that all life forms true purpose is to be food for one creature, all emotions we have are pointless, all wars amount to nothing, we have only one purpose that is to be food. That really struck a cord with me. I was also shocked how much it had in common with Dragon Ball Z, not just the art, but the story, especially with Lavos and Cell. The utopian society was an obvious reference to Atlantis, and thats an interesting thought if Atlantis is still around, not destroyed per se. My dad said once that some people think that Atlantis was a kingdom that god took up to heaven, weird coincidence? Theres things this game didnt do and places it could have gone but didnt. I think nowadays with the ability to have expansion packs then a game could in fact top it with the subjects it touches upon, a third Chrono game could do this and be the best of the trilogy.
I was really sad for awhile, but it was so brilliant I kept wanting to play. I defeated him early since I had an invincibility cheat, I beat him as soon as I could access 1999 from the end of time. After playing through that and getting a sad normal kind of ending I picked up back where I was and played through the whole rest of the game including side quests. These made me happy, I liked changing people and places for the better. I got the best ending from this and as they were walking around with the lights shining I almost cried because of how beautiful it was. Then when I was done with the good byes and I saw the credits it really made me happy. Within 4 days I went from being the most sad a game has left me to being the happiest.
How did the game make you feel at different times?

It's a bit... Different to Blood Money. The levels are different, the disguise system is changed, and not for the better. Also checkpoints are damn near useless as they're broken. It's not without its flaws, but it's a damn good game. Blood Money is the better game of the two though imo. :(
I checked earlier today and as it happens it looks like it just dropped form 59.99 to 39.99. I guess with the exchange that's comparable. Unfortunately I didn't think anything could have really beat Blood Money and that they would have changed things a bit to distinguish it. But still sounds like a good buy nonetheless. Of course I may have to pick up BM as well. What's up with the checkpoints? You can't just save where ever you like mid-level depending on difficulty like before?Quote:

Got done with Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar, had to play it after beatign Falzar couple days ago, Gregar so much better.
100%'d Muramasa: The Demon Blade. All blades, both characters lvl 99, beat the "third quest" with both characters, and beat Total Pandemonium with both characters. Next game, pls.
Just finished the main quest in Rainbow Moon (finally). I was having a bit of trouble with the last boss, so I went off to level grind for a bit until I could finally beat him. Now, to go back and level grind some more and finish the platinum. I think all I have left are the level trophies, playing for 100 hours (which isn't that far off at the moment), and finishing a few side quests to get all of the skills for a particular player.
