Just finished AC: Revelations. Still a solid game, but this was probably my least favorite game in the Ezio trilogy. I enjoyed Brotherhood and AC2 much more.

A couple of weeks ago me and a mate finished Ninja Gaiden 1-3 (on NES of course) and we also beat Contra III playing two guys with one controller (WHICH WAS AWESOME!), although we only did it on easy.
Wanted to see if I could beat Ninja Gaiden 1 on my own. Did so in a bit over an hour. It... really isn't that hard. People suck etc.
Beat Uncharted on Hard.
I've managed to beat 3 games in a week (my personal record) X3.
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent ("Demo version")
- Slender (managed to get all 8 pages just in time) X3
- Megaman X4 (recently)
Jak & Daxter HD :platinum:
Very easy game. It's also aged graciously, although the controls have definitely taken a hit. The camera gets hung up on the environment more often than I'd care to admit, and the action buttons feel extremely stiff -- there were quite a few times that I didn't double jump or attack, even though I explicitly told the game that's what I was doing. Having to press hard on each button at certain points got rather frustrating. The movement controls were pretty good for the most part, but Jak kind of... slides... at times, which makes some of the platforming sections unnecessarily difficult. Couple that with a shoddy camera and stiff controls, and there were definitely times that I wanted to throw my controller against the wall.
But the story is light hearted and fun, the game looked great, and it's a solid first entry in a series. I'm really liking these HD collections, since most of them are for games that came out during the PS2 era that I never got a chance to play when they were first released, on account of not owning a PS2 until recently.
recently i have beaten.
Dishonored, on ps3 (its a fun game but a little short for my liking, people argue that its a long game if you count in all the searching for runes and doing sidequests and reading notes and books etc. but i still find it a bit short it only had like 9 stages, it is fun though)
Dragons Dogma, on ps3 ( excellent game the gameplay is so much fun probably the best medievil fantasy rpg game i have ever played. don't get me wrong oblivion and skyrim were fun but the battling and gameplay on this game is just so fun like a devil may cry + shadow of the collusus combo but with rpg elements.)
Sleeping Dogs, on ps3 (a fun GTA type game set in china where your an asian guy and you know kung fu its a fun game i love it)
Just beat Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact. I'd have to say it's the best game out of the series so far. They just get better and better. Super hard more was a bit harder than I was expecting but still satisfying xD
Can't wait for the next one
Final Fantasy 8. Took over a decade but I finally got around to it.
Just finished Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier a few days ago. The story's nothing special, but mother of god, the battle system is so over-the-top and awesome. Music's also pretty good, especially Haken's theme :D
Also beat Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I like the battle system in this one as well. It's cool to have to learn the attack patterns of all enemies in order to dodge and counter their attacks.
Frobot 100% XD yeah i'd play anything Wiiware on my hacked wii. Also Donkey Kong Country in less than 2 hours with about 70% not to shabby eh.
Contra: The Hard Corps
Thanks goodness for a lifebar patch!
Assassins creed 3
Skyrim main story 5th time lol
Legend of Zelda Skyward sword (wii)Portal 2
Game of Thrones (calling it challenging is a understatement xD)
Limbo
Slender
Erie
SCP containment breach
If you havent played skyrim it will be $10 on black friday and AC3 will be $40(?)
Rayman 3 was quite fun.
Moving onto The Suffering, gonna put more time in the Kirby collection and might wrap up NMH2.
Jak II :platinum:
General impressions of the game: storyline was awesome, controls were shit, difficulty spikes were bullshit, someone needs to fix that camera, mandatory minigames are stupid.
I don't feel like writing up a full review. :lol
Yakuza
It was better than I thought it would be. 8.5/10
Onto Yakuza 2.
Fallout New Vegas :platinum:
After 170 hours and more than a hundred of missions completed, I think I can bring my adventures in the Mojave wasteland to a close. Can't really say that I liked any of the endings :/
I agree that the endings weren't the best - I was sad when my poor robotic dog bit the dust. He survived the whole journey with me and got put down during the assault on the Dam. It did have a nice montage of him during the ending though, I thought that was really nice.
I didn't use companions except for their side missions for that reason, I was playing on hardcore and didn't want to risk losing them.
Yeah, parts of the endings were scripted and no matter what you did, that couldn't be changed.
Still enjoyable despite the glitches and the multiple freezes.
I found using companions could glitch up the game even more and never really used them except for that one trophy/achivement as well. I remember Ed-E simply dissapearing on my first playthrough, it eventually showed up much much later.
Having Cassidy killed in that one mission where you have to was neat though
I really have to get it again someday to try the DLC.
If you keep a couple of things in mind through/via a walkthrough (I don't want to give too much away) and without DLC it's nowhere near that long. Play on Hardcore right from the beginning and keep a couple of choice saves and you can do it rather fast. I once went through the game normally and only hit level 9 and beat it in less than 12 hours (not getting all trophys/achievements which I had already done of course) It is my only Plat, yet I had played it a few times beforehand on the 360. Out of the few PS3 games I've played it's a fairly easy plat.
Jackal on Nes
Can't believe i'm still good at it after so many years:cool:
Asphalt 6

final fantasy 13-2/ps3 PS:great job squarenix you gave the fans a decent rpg for once
Xenosaga Episode 1 Japanese finished! ^_^ I know I'm a shameless fangirl, but I still love it, even after all these years, and honestly it was the most fun I've had with a game in god only knows how long, as well as one of the only games I've actually finished this year. ^^;;; I still can't believe how well directed the cutscenes are for its age, and since the game is mostly cutscenes anyway, it's actually aged strangely well. It hadn't been all that long since I played it last, though, and I remembered it well enough that I wound up basically killing the game at a really low level with a game timer of about twenty hours. I guess next time I should wait a little longer if I actually want it to be challenging. :'D
On to the much maligned second episode! Which I never actually minded that much anyway, as I was quite willing to look past its problems for Yuki Kajiura's music and all the delicious Jr. and Albedo it provided. ^^;;; It'll also be substantially cooler than it was the last time I played it, both because the game finally runs off a PS2 harddisk and you can bypass the crappy loading times and choppy battle transition effects, and because because the awful changes they made to the English voice cast in the second episode aren't mirrored in the Japanese cast, which remains consistent across all three games. Whee~! ^^;;;
Tales of Innocence and The Legend of Kage 2
Resident Evil 6 finally!
You don't even want to know my thoughts. However, not looking forward to professional. Simply because of how long and dull the game is. :dread:
Beat The Last Story. A superb game that any Wii owner should have (granted you like action RPGs).
Just finished the campaign for Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. As advertised, it was a very short game (the replay value is apparently hinged on the online). Still, what little storyline present was actually interesting. I was skeptical about the tower defense part of the game -- the only reason I bought this game was because it was part of the R&C franchise, and thus far I have not played an R&C game that I haven't enjoyed. However, they managed to pull off something that doesn't require you be a great strategist to complete the main game.
All and all, I'm happy with my purchase thus far. And for $20, can't really go wrong. I'll write up a full "review" once I try the online.
Wrapped up Artorias of the Abyss dlc for Dark Souls, decided to finish off the last few achievements while I was at it. Though that required me to play through the game twice, so I many have gotten a bit carried away in that respect.
Not sure if I posted this before, but I recently beat Contra on Famicom. Also beat Renegade too.
Beat Black Ops 2.
Persona 4 Arena
Finished Xenosaga 1 in Japanese, now playing through Xenosaga 1+2 on DS.
I recently finished Crash Bandicoot 1 on Playstation One. Attachment 35648
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault :platinum:
Okay, now that I've played the online for a bit, I'm ready to give this game a full review.
Spoiler warning:
The TL;DR: for $20, it's a great budget title that can give you a few months of entertainment if you stick to the multiplayer. It's not perfect, and the community is a little slow getting going, but if you're looking for a new kind of multiplayer environment, this is definitely a great game. You may be in for a steep learning curve in the multiplayer depending how long you wait to pick it up, though.
