I'm not too bothered as most new games suck .

Spoiler warning:
Terra Onion garbage :unhappy:, Super SD Shite is more like it.
started playing the simpsons game on ps3.I have played a bit of the ds version but that one sucks compared to the ps3 version. I haven't tried hit and run yet but this is just about the perfect simsons game(given it's a EA game). why couldn't the family guy games be that good?
Hit and Run is pretty good. Has it's technical issues though but still a blast.
It can be particular about card brands. Pretty sure anything samsung should be avoided. I use sandisk.
Yeah the slot is recessed but I have one cultivated thumbnail that is handy for this :pwacko:
The CD/card thing is odd though, I've tested various games and never noticed that
Is your firmware updated?
Might and Magic English translation needs a patched bios, for fonts.
How long ago did he get it?
Needs to be registered with the serial to dl updates.
Mine was "updated fairly recently" according to the seller but I downloaded and installed a firmware update for it when it arrived.
Yeah for the audio the old model (like mine) can be fixed by installing a small mod board. Not sure about the newer board revisions though.
I wouldn't buy this stuff brand new, the dev is a complete tool.
Not much main game content in SO5. Finished in under 15H :lol.
Been playing Alundra, close to beating it. Similar to Zelda, but not quite.
I can't remember the exact details. The guy that create the fix board might even be US based? idk
Honestly I couldn't be bothered worrying about it. I got mine used and primarily wanted it just to play games, that fact it isn't 100% perfect audio wise doesn't annoy the hell out of me.
Cheaper to get this than buying CD system, relevant cards and a cheap ED clone.
If you remember at some point I'll take a look at it. I think Gyp finds it tolerable at the volume he plays at.
My PlayAsia package came! Kinda wish the tracking was more up to date, but meh.
tried out the simpsons roadrage the other day on my ps3 it played fine for 5-10 min before my ps3 crashed with 3 beeps I also tried hit and run but didn't actually play it as my power button started to flash before i got to the main menu so I quit the game.
I'd play them both on my ps2 but I've tried hit and run in the past and it would never load for me despite being ESR compatible just like ratchet and clank 3(i even tried the pal version and it didn't work)I wasted 3-4 dvds on that game.
There's a pc version of hit and run you could probably find. Requirements are virtually nothing. Binds well to a controller too.
My god the latest Star Trek New Worlds was something :lol
They should get an Emmy nod for a this....or a Grammy :P
yes just fine. I think it might have something to do with webman I might try those two games again with webman unloaded and see if that fixes the problem
this. I recently ran the pal version of stunt gp for ps2 and it worked fine in the past(on my SS with HEN) I ran bubsy 3d pal which oddly was the only version of that game to work.
PS3 should be 50/60Hz machine. Region locked games are extremely rare, older platform games not working properly would have more to do with emu settings (config).
Both x360 and Wii are 50/60Hz as well, although Wii sometimes needs some method of forcing to get some games to work and x360 you need jtag/rgh to have full region free.
If the PS3 is behaving like that, the check list:
Open up and give it a clean... don't go as far as replacing thermal paste for this job.
PSU might be getting tired. Old fats can work ok for PS3 games, mostly, but some PS2 games can be demanding so the PSU gets pushed.
After that things get beyond easy.
Even the PSU issue can be a pain if you don't have a spare to swap in... although I seem to recall a tutorial years ago about frankenPSU using PC PSU :thot: anything like that is ugly though as it's an externalised mod.
The animated episode was way better than this and I didn't really like that.
I really like this show but wtf...
