See you all next year!
Maybe deadlegion should contact the prime minister of Australia.
I was referencing the episode of the Simpsons based in Australia.
Spoiler warning:
I'm preferential to 4:3/5:4 but, I'm using a 16:9 at the moment.
It seems doubtful that I'll see a good 4:3, 5:4, or even 16:10 panel anytime soon if ever again.
I prefer 16:9 now.
I do watch a fair amount of stuff that is either 4:3 or wider than 16:9 (films) but black bars don't bother me.
I don't think I could go back to using a crt or rear projection tv for everything though I do still have a 32" crt.
Maybe one day I'll switch to super ultra wide curved 20k, but hopefully decent holo projectors will turn up before I die.
Ultrawide is bollocks, too much horizontal and not enough vertical.
I lvoe Ultra-Wide, I honestly don't think I could ever go back. It really helps with video editing too. :lol
Oh shit got an email for a job interview tomorrow. Gonna be interesting... :lol
Get a 5K monitor instead .
They do, it's just that it's limited to pro lines only at the moment.

If you don't have any particular needs there are a lot of cheapy 4K panels.
Hueg ass 8k tv says hi.
I like this colourful story. Thank you google.Quote:
Computer screen is going bizerk and pixelated... HELP!
Last night I was playing a game on the computer, and all of a sudden the screen became pixalated and to when all I could are colorful grainy blocks all over the screen to where you couldn't see anything
:lol
Sounds like GPU instability causing artifacting.
I've never seen anything like that using consoles...although PS3 does some cool slowmo and other random gay shit sometimes
