Ah, uPlay leaves a lot to be desired. I had my quota of problems trying to unlock some content in an Assassin's Creed game. Did it via PS3 when apparently I had to do it via web site for it to work :rolleyes:

Yeah when I bought Far Cry 3 I downloaded it for steam but upon launch uplay launches and then Far Cry 3 starts.

I know it's a first world problem but it did bug me a bit.

I do like the idea behind it, rewarding the player with some goodies for playing their games, but it's poorly implemented, slow as hell and glitchy.

I noticed some stuff about Uplay while playing Splinter Cell and just ignored it. Seemed like the thing to do.

On topic of K/D ratios, any FPS game I've played for any amount of time, I always come out with around 0.8 :lol I can't play it safe, I just have to run in, time after time. Always getting cheap deaths, but I'd rather that than camp. :D

Last time I religiously played an FPS online was with James Bond Night Fire :lol

Well, the internet and X720 fans sure thought it was gonna change the world :wacko:

My K/D is actually really good on most CoD games. I don't camp either - but I only play when my friends are on. Being able to coordinate attacks with people you know does wonders.
I don't ever play online shooters on my own - the few times I have is when I really get tore up :lol

The last ones I've put any real amount of time into that spring to mind are:

Gears of War 1, 2, 3 (Not FPS, but I put a lot of my life into these games)
Battlefield Bad Company 2 (only 30 hours ish I think, but my K/D I remember being around 0.8)
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (no idea what my K/D was but I had about 50 hours playtime online)

Haven't really played much else online for long, never got into Battlefield 3, never bothered with 4. No interest in CoD Ghosts and so on.
