Anyway, off to bed :wav:
Damn that is a good burn, lol
I haven't read the book, or seen the movie so I can't judge for myself
LoTR movies have some obvious differences to the books but many of the general ideas are still ok.
Sure, there are shortcuts, omissions and some hollywood bling thrown in (all to be expected) but they aren't that radically removed from the original theme.
But having the author say only the title is the same is pretty bad
Ikr?
But let's say somehow a close friend who just happened to like that crap roped me along into their browsing.
I cried my eyes out at how fooled I was. It's been a year since we spoke eye to eye without me bitching about my mental anguish
The only way I'd be dragged to any of those movies is in a body-bag. ;)
Still, I DID see a couple decent movies in the past few days. Went and saw 2 guns, which was good, and pretty funny. As well as Elysium, which is pretty damn awesome IMO. I had doubts, because of Matt Damon. The movie was really good though.
Matt Damon is awesome.
He's not the worst actor ever, I suppose. I can definitely think of worse. At least it wasn't Keanu Reeves.
Pirate it before it's on Netflix.

Seriously though, see it in the theater, it's worth it. I still kick myself for not going and seeing District 9 in the theaters.
Methinks there are only cams of Elysium around atm.
I was kidding about Matt Damon
Someone changed my title. Who did that? Oh,well demi god is a good one. Think I'll keep it.
Is everyone asleep or something?? Damn.ok.
That's the default title for your access level.
You probably set it to default or disabled the title then re-enabled.
Or something.
Oh. It changed though, it was elite yesterday, I think. anyway,How are you?
G'day EP...
Hey Shane.
I can relate to that.Sometimes I just feel like randomly tasering people. sigh.
Although it's a comic and not a book (don't give me this graphic novel shit either ) Watchmen was for the most part incredibly similar to the comic, with only a few scenes being removed.
Getting ready to kill a Reaper on Rannoch.
:shades:
I'm learning piano :D Only have a 25 key keyboard, but I'll be damned if I'm going to spend £500+ on a full sized one :S
