set fire to an xbox mains transformer, not sure what happened. :?
interior fuse is chunked, not an issue.
looks like some arcing took place, a capacitor near the mains input is blown, popped.
damage is superficial, i need to know why that thing burst, the fuse should took care of any surge/overload.
it's been serviced in the last year, capacitors and all.
ad it;s not like the mains is left to the console when not in use.
