yeah I have enough expensive hobbies as it is. if I still had friends that played yugioh I might have been able to get back into without spending tons of money but now I've been trying to sell my collection. I actually should re-list it on CL and see if I can sell it this time around.Quote:

Yeah playing Magic competitively prevented me from having almost any fun money for anything else. At least it's super easy to cash out of Magic for at least acceptable value (unlike almost every other card game), though I wish I would have kept 1-2 copies of some better cards for EDH purposes.

Oh definitely, it's the most popular tcg by a wide margin so stores know they have to offer good cash prices if they ever want to get in good cards. For instance CFB (a big store) sells Force of Will for $120 and buys them in at $70 cash. So way better than video game stores and such. Though with cards like Force you could easily sell 4 of them for $400 total locally-ish or on a Magic forum and have them sold within a day.
