That actually kinda makes me wonder: I wonder which of my most-played games would allow me to play offline. Overwatch and XIV (#2 and #1, respectively) are definitely out of the picture lmao

Yarp. They would definitely be out lol. I love Star Trek Online (it's ok to laugh at me heh) so it's nice to get back into it. Playing it now and doing my daily stuffs.

I think I'd do pretty decently without internet for a while, at least with the games I'm playing right now. (Persona 5 Royal and Super Mario RPG).

I'd crap my pants if I got fibre internet. As for not having internet, I have a good dose of games I could play offline. However I make money off the internet (not much, but some), so... It would be :/

That's how many people feel if playing it for the first time from what I've read and seen (back in the earlier days of the game of course) I certainly did. It really does get better once you get used to it and build up your character a bit. They've added a hell of a lot to it over the last couple of years. There's still a feeling of lack of direction sometimes but imo that's how all mmo's are.

Also elsewhere? THERE IS NO ELSEWHERE ONLY ZUUL!! I mean EP.

I got a code for 3 when I bought 4. No DLC though with it which is ridiculous but I have it on PC anyways.

Physical 3 goty is easy to find and should be cheap. Ok if it has scratches, XB1 only needs to read the inner ring and you only need disc 2 (DLC) to install full game.
No reason not to have it really, same with NV Ultimate. Pretty sure I still have multiple copies of both.

Found a white Wii U controller at work. Already had a black charging cradle and a USB cable, so I charged the battery but obviously couldn't do anything with it beyond seeing if the screen still worked (well, display anyway. No idea if the touch function still works).

Not sure what I should do with it now :shrug:

I think you can use it on Dolphin. This is an old video so maybe it works better now. You could use it to test the gamepad, then sell it on eBay, they seem to fetch a better price than the console.

I've beaten 3 and NV so many times I probably wouldn't even touch them again. Besides if I felt the need it would just take a few minutes to nab NV for PC anyways as I already have the full FO3 :pirate:

Oh and another thing about FO76 - I really like the base building for it. Got a cool little base stretching across a canyon with walkways to either side and basically suspended in the middle (looks like you can also have a 2nd base now too from an update a couple months back)

Did some reading and it appears this is only possible using the Wii U console as pass-through? The gamepad itself is just a dumb controller (no processor) :shrug:

Might see if I can get a Deluxe console + gamepad and psu's for a reasonable price :thot:

Looks like I found what I need from a seller I know.
Not boxed and no sensor bar but that isn't a problem.

I have a Wind Waker edition console and didn't want to hack it. I bought a console only from eBay for around £25 (can't remember exactly) and hacked that.

Oh been meaning to ask - How's RE8 Jazz?

Does the main character still move slower than a dog dragging its ass across a carpet or did they speed him up a bit?

I need to know if it's better than 7. Without getting any huge spoilers.

Basically what I'm getting at. The atmosphere of 7 especially the Baker home and the out buildings were really amazing. I wasn't expecting it to be like Doom or anything but a game with a first person view and combat should have been better. I understand it's slower because it was presented as more of a VR game but 8 isn't so hope they fixed these things. I did have a better experience with it this time around though.

I really want it along with Hitman 3. They'll probably be my next big series games.

First person was the only thing I really liked about 7.

Seriously though I don't have a problem for people like you, Gobby, Lefty, Yuichi etc. that have been here for 10 years. Retro is even slower than the regular hangout though. But there are fun things to backread like the original hangout is archived there (well a 3rd of it anyhow, the rest was lost during a crash) and so on.
