How well can your rig handle PCSX2?

Hi guys.
My sinuses are messed up. I can't hear. Hoping it's temporary.
How are you?
Sup Merry, Having fun?
I'm just playing random PSP games......
Actually haven't used PCSX2 in ages, but as far as I remember it ran fine. According to this video my CPU can handle even Valkyrie Profile 2, I guess. And mine is overclocked to 3.8, not 3.6.
So many Husks...
However, PCSX2 is not the measuring tool for CPU power these days I think.
In FFXIV when I'm standing in the middle of a major city with a hundred people onscreen my framerate takes a nosedive to like 30 from the usual 50-60. On a high end CPU it wouldn't be a problem even in those situations.
Sparta?
The real question that matters is can your PC properly render pictures of Kliff Kingsbury.
Night peeps, damn cold and got too busy at work. How are y'all?
Yeah I've seen some videos, looks intense. The amount of players seems to be around the same as the crowds I usually see in the three main cities so hopefully I can maintain at least 25-30 FPS and it won't turn into a slideshow... but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I CAN RUN SKYRIM WITH THE LOWEST SETTINGS POSSIBLE!!!!
I fully expect The Witcher 3 to make my rig humble, Iron Sheik style.
I'm trying to get into The Witcher 2 again but for some reason I cannot use custom resolutions anymore and any resolution lower than 1440x900 gives me a black frame. :(
And yes I want to run it at a low resolution because my computer is a 8 year old piece of shit. D:
I wonder how tomorrow will go. Major influx of PS4 players amirite?
I really should try out the witcher 2, it seems like the sort of game I would love.
Shame they only ported it to 360 and not PS3, that way you could've easily played it.
Btw the black frame could be something about your monitor settings, I remember getting black widescreen-like borders in 1600x900 as opposed to my native 1920x1080. I remember changing something around in my resolution/monitor settings in Win7 and it fixed it.
The fact that your computer is 8 years old and can still play the witcher 2 is impressive.
In fact, that popular Witcher 2 vid on my channel that has like 50k views was recorded when I still had the 8800GT.
Just checked and it's actually 6 years, sorry about that. >_< I built it myself and it's my finest computer yet.
But yeah I get ~25 fps in The Witcher 2 but settings ranging from low to medium. Most settings seem to do little to improve the frame rate though, it's all about the resolution hence me wanting to lower it.
Right now I'd say the most demanding game out there would be Crysis 3 maxed out. If you can run that at 60 FPS on the highest settings, then bravo.
Yeah but would you really want to play Crysis 3?
Also at what resolution, full HD?
