I'd probably run out of patience before such a convergence if I were in the same situation :revwacko:.

Missing out on a major computing upgrade in the meantime :serious:.
Control pod on my Promedia 2.1 set is on the way out >.>. Works with warmup time, when it wants to, but no longer immediately.
Replacements are ridiculously priced.
sad when it just as or more expensive to fix something than it is to replace it.
what a bunch of dicks.
My new Manager is a kick ass guy. :lol

I have an audio video question here. I have a stereo receiver and I'm wondering can I get tv audio through the receiver and get audio from devices connected(hdmi) to my tv through the receiver?
I know I can connect the audio plugs from composite/component to the receiver and get the audio and keep the video plugs attached to the tv which I've done before.
Something like this with device 3 outputting to the TV and then sending that to the receiver?
Spoiler warning:
You can do something like that if your TV has an audio passthrough or some other output. If it doesn't then any audio you want output via the receiver needs to be input to it.
Assuming understood what you meant .
I'd say yes and no. Depends on the receiver. I had my Xbone hooked up to the tv and the tv output to the receiver, stereo worked fine but the surround sound mostly didn't work - rear speakers were just static and the center channel was super low in volume. Sub Woofer was fine though. My receiver is kinda old though.
yeah it does.shit so that's out. any other possible(and cheap) solutions?
An old receiver that has digital input. Like an old pre-hdmi 5.1 surround receiver. People throw a lot of those away now so you can find them easily a scrap yards or wherever there is ewaste disposal.
I have a few here, a couple are yamaha units. I've also got an eary hdmi pioneer unit that has loads of jacks on it, on that one the hdmi stuff isn't pass-through tho iirc.
I've also got a really old yamaha prologic receiver here but that doesn't have any sort of 5.1 input (no digital inputs).
Are there any fun Rugby sevens video games? There's a rugby sevens on the Mario & Sonic Olympic Games at Tokoy 2020, its fun, but pretty bare bones.
There appear to be a few rugby games but if they're any good or what you want I don't know .
bought a new stand mount for my tv off amazon for under $20 with tax and free shipping and got it the next day(fuck you chinese ebayers) it's not a bad stand though it sits a bit high for my liking.
I tried tinkering with one of my stereo receivers but couldn't get any audio out of the speakers while connected to my tv. I did later see an option for external speakers in the tv menu.
Ugh, nasty blood clot in my leg. On blood thinners. Little to no beer allowed.
Zal unhappy :(
30 days to start.
Already got an appointment with a specialist/hematologist for this Wednesday and guess I'll find out if ongoing treatment is needed.
2nd time this has happened although it was like 8 or 9 years ago last time in my other leg.
Sucks.
