Fuck the IRS!
not saying it's bad it's just so cheesy it's funny to watch. I watch a lot of really old shows I get a kick out of the cheesy effects those glaringly obvious ones(like an ocean scene projected below a fake cliff) star trek(original) from the very little doesn't have too bad of effects
doctor who(which I've watched quite a few episodes of)is a bit hit and miss the newer(tom baker) ones are better than the older ones.
I get to go to bed with a headache now. >:
I need my AGI from last year to finish filling this year's taxes, which is an identity check. Every year, I go to the IRS website to get it only to find "I have no account" with the site. Then after jumping through all thier hoops to check my identity, they lock me out for 24 hours cause the last 8 digits of my credit card don't match - ok, fuck that. Im looking right at the numbers thank you very much.
Everything is digital. I don't have a 1040 from last year (with the AGI) I don't even have a printed w2. It's allllllll digital.
man just found out one of the oldest rom sites that I've used for years got hit by nintendo last month so they pulled everything nintendo not just first party games :(
Doctor Who started before Star Trek but the budget was less. It's a BBC show.
The effects in the Tom Baker era are hit and miss, if you watch all of them you can see some bad green screen edits. One story in particular (I forget the name atm) in a spaceship scene the windows are still green with no overlay. For the classic series (pre-reboot) budget and production time restraints affected quality. It's still a great show though with a lot of good ideas and stories.
If you haven't already you should check out Blake's 7. It's created by the same guy that was responsible for the Daleks, it's from the same time as some of the later Tom Baker stuff.
It was basically targetting a slightly older audience though, not really a family show like Doctor Who.
I'm not sure if it was remastered for BD but there are DVD releases.
Patrick Troughton, Sylvestor McCoy, Jon Pertwee...in that order ^^ (as for companions, Ace, Jammie, Ben, and ALL OF UNIT).
Tom Baker is still my favourite although I do like Jon Pertwee :)
just seems weird that you wouldn't get a paper copy
yeah I've noticed that in a few episodes. I didn't know it started before star trek. for being low budget they didn't do too bad of a job on some of the episodes you could tell it was low budget by the sets and filming location the one that comes to mind is the one that too place in a light house 4 episodes 4 rooms and a furry green slimeball.
...Dead, are you deleting my posts? XD
:edit: no, you arnt its just the site having a spaz attack..hurrah
They're fucking everywhere downtown man.
When I was going for a hospital visit just after I got my clot several weeks ago and I saw a dude in this alcove of a building. He was so fucked on that shit he was punching a brick wall trying to get into it and screaming "I'll save you man, I'll save you" "let me in, let me in" this shit happens all the time.
