Started when I was 4, and I was introduced to my cousins. They showed me Kid Niki Radical Ninja for the NES. Have not been able to stop gaming since.
Actually my oder cousin, he let me play his NES an C64 back in the days, and then it was written XD

My brother handed me the controller so I could play after he kept dying and after I wouldn't let go because it was just so addictive!
I got into gaming from play dynasty warriors. I love action games!
Well it probably was the first game i remember playing, Mario Kart 64. I've been playing video games ever since!

The fact they are fun. nothing sparked me into gaming.
DOS games on the PC. Apogee made some early 90s classics.
I can't quite remember the sequence of events, but I know at some point my aunt gave me an original Gameboy. I also remember getting an old NES from another relative. Although, at that point I may have already been playing PC games. I remember being really into Zeus. I have yet to play another city builder that I've enjoyed as much as Zeus. I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of Banished recently, but it hasn't come close to the majesty of Zeus.

Dad bought an NES while he was in the Navy. He played one while on deployment and got hooked, had to have one at home. He had a stash of Dad games like Faxanadu, Solstice, Dragon Warrior, etc. Played them all anyway.
