Max Payne 3 - had this game since release date but never really gave it much time. All I can say is this game is a Doctoral Thesis on style over substance.

People weren't joking when they said the chapters were long. An hour and a half to finish the first chapter. Madness.
Well I most certainly don't hate the game, it's pretty good. It's taken a while to get used to the menu system, but I can see myself getting my £24s worth from the game at the very least.
Well, after playing the first five chapters of Max Payne 3 last night, I came to the conclusion that I really only had about 15 minutes of actual play time. The rest was just me sitting their watching the cut-scenes. So... I went back to Dragon Quest IV, finished it and just started up V for the NDS about an hour ago. I'm still determined to get through all the games in sequential order (minus VII most likely).

AC Revelations and as expected, I'm quite liking it. Really digging the new exotic setting with Constantinople. Kinda considering buying AC3 on launch day now. :wacko:

Played the demo for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. It's definitely NOT a Metal Gear game outside of the main protagonist, but it's pretty cool. The slicing mechanic is actually really neat and well implemented. I have higher hopes for it now than I did a few months ago.

Started ACIII last night. Pretty good so far. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore AC fan, seeing as the only game I played to completion in the series is ACII (which I thoroughly enjoyed). Never played the two sequel/expansions to that, nor did I make it very far in ACI. Bit of a twist at the beginning that I didn't see coming. Granted I haven't been following the game so this may have been revealed, or not, but I won't mention it here.
