Look at that. The chat is still there.
And it allows more than 25 people on at a time.

Man-oh-man... do chatrooms, no matter where they are, ALWAYS attract Derps? (To be clear, I'm not referring to n00bs, although both clubs are not mutually exclusive.) I hope the chat thing doesn't kill the Hangout threads... I don't post in them a lot, but I do enjoy reading them.
Also, I'm a bit concerned that with so many places to interact (Hangout, Free-4-All, Visitor Messages, Blogs, Private Messaging, and now chat) the sense of community is becoming diluted, and things are becoming a bit clique-ish and anti-social. Anyone else sense this, or is it just me?
EP has always been clique-ish. Even the people that post in the Hang Out tend to ignore posts by people they don't enjoy interacting with. And then there's all of the specialty threads and forums (Fighters Thread, Retro, etc). I think the chat is great for new members who are trying to "fit in," or are just coming in to ask a few questions and then leave. Something like that. Not sure how much I will end up using it, but I think it's a pretty nifty feature. Besides, maybe it actually will cut down on all of the "where teh romz" and "how do I get _____ to work?" threads, since they can get more instant responses via chat. I can see a few people hanging around the chat just to "help" people, or just hang out, similar to the IRC channel. Which I think was great, but I never personally went there. Perhaps with the chat being integrated into the forum, it will get more love than the IRC channel has had lately.
Perhaps.
I've seen Zorlon and a few others helping out in the chat, so yeah, it can be pretty useful.
ive been doin a fair amount for the people that are asking about things
just finshed uploading a game for a guy in america who has unlimited downloads between 7-9 AM so it takes him forever to download things
i just upped it to his FTP server man was that a pain in the ass
I honestly don't care. I'll probably keep the chat on for the same reason I keep the Facebook chat on -- in case someone decides they want to chat with me.
Not sure how much I'll actually venture in there. Perhaps when the Hang Out is dead and I'm really bored.
As for the rest of your posts, well... that's a completely different story.
FTP?
So last decade. :ignore:
Home from work.
Make-up removed.
Pajamas adorned.
Now to find something to play. ^^;;;
Boringboringboring.
And I can't even see if anyone decent is online.
I'm so not opening that chat window up.
But chat is where all the cool kids are.
Or so they like to think.
One hour and fifteen minutes until the puck drops. :nerd:
I'm actually kinda liking the Chat, only because I haven't encountered a troll yet
No trolls, just morons.
V for Vendetta is on the BBC iPlayer. I suppose this is a great time to watch it? :D
I haven't seen V for Vendetta in a long time.
Good flick. Nothing spectacular, but entertaining.
Haven't seen it yet Dan? Pretty good flick.
Drag needs to stop reading my mind.
As for the chat, I think someone was bashing FFXII in there, and I had to resist the urge to step in and tell him he's wrong. That's about it!
But it's so lovely in your mind. I like sexy European accents. :hello:
I pretty much facepalmed when Nemesis said "Rangers are a completely different sport," when talking about hockey on the chat.
... really, buddy? They're part of the Original Six. C'mon, now. :disgust:
I shall watch it tonight since I'm no doubt going to be awake all night.
I went to bed at 1pm and woke up at 11pm :dread:
lulz chat is full and I can't join. :lol
I was going to join and say hurr durr ffxii sux noobs
I saw V for Vendetta with a friend when it first came out. I remember leaving with the impression that it was so amazing.
Then I watched it again later and wasn't as impressed. They must have put something in the popcorn to make us more enthusiastic or something.
I am overjoyed that the chat is full.
To be fair, cinema popcorn makes everything so much better.
I've been tempted to go to a movie simply so I can consume copious amounts of the sort of things that can only be procured at a snack bar.
But, alas, I don't feel like sitting through an hour and a half of shit no matter how delicious the food is.
A chat?? Why? Suddenly the hang out is pointless..
I have an issue with mouth noises.
100+ people sitting in a room chomping on popcorn is a situation likely to give me a nervous breakdown.
And if they're sucking on candy? I'll probably just slaughter someone.
OnLive console will be here tomorrow by 4:30 :awesome:
My biggest problem at movie theaters are usually all the chattering teenagers.
Seriously. Even when I was a teenager, I knew to shaddafugup when someone paid an arm and a leg to watch a two hour mediocre film. :disgust:
The company is what makes the chat.
And the people you find here tend to be superior to the ones you'd find on chat.
Plus the hangout is a lot less intrusive when you need to leave for a few minutes. One place to read instead of 10 people randomly sending you private chats and the like.
*sucks the last drops out of the bottom of his drink*
My boyfriend was watching some video on YouTube the other day, during which you could tell that the person who recorded themselves was obviously chewing gum at the time. And not only that, but the microphone was way, way too close to his face.
So much saliva.
So much cringing.
