Well, since Sprung told me to start a discussion, and then two people locked that and sent me here...
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King. Foudn it while I was packing up my books for a possible move, forgot I even had it. So, it's sitting there waiting for me to have some spare time.
Read Cleric Quintet by R A Salvatore. Now reading Desperation by Stephen King (for the 2nd time).
Albert Camus' L'Étranger (The Stranger).
Story of a man, Meursault, who seems unable to both show remorse for certain actions, and emotions in general. Even though he seems able to express love, one wonders how much the feelings he expresses are true and if they're not just "expected" actions and reactions.

We read that in French as part of the curriculum, actually. It was er...challenging. ^^;;; I totally chickened out and read the English one alongside it. :( I suck. Great book though, regardless.
I'm currently struggling through Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu in Japanese. I vowed to start reading Japanese books in order to improve my vocabulary, but it's slow, slow progress. :( I still need to look up so many words... It doesn't help that most of my vocabulary was acquired from RPGs, and that my knowledge of real life type vocabulary is immensely crappy. ^_^
Tales of the Otori: Brilliance of the Moon (book 3) by Lian Hearn

great story, they should turn this trilogy into a movie.
The Road to Serfdom by Hayek.
I've also been reading off and on "The Osama Bin Laden I know" by Peter Bergen.
Both are very interesting if you enjoy those sort of topics.
Time Enough For Love, by that one guy. Y'know who I'm talking about. He's that guy.
Also, just finished the last Harry Potter book. Good times.
wyrd sisters by terry pratchett <-- genius
next is pyramids by terry pratchett. discworld ftw
Terry Pratchett is indeed awesome.
I just finished reading Sailor Nothing. It's a deconstruction of the whole Magical Girls/Sailor Moon style. The Evangelion of the genre, if you will.
It's an online short novel, so I'll pass on the link to anyone that's interested.
