I never understood steam, you need to have extra software installed to play games, it seems pretty lame.

I'm totally ready at the moment (SF4 running in the background right now, actually), but if you're still installing, 4 gigs will take a while to download. And I'm kinda going to bed soon-ish. :wacko:

I have a few, but I'm old school, opting to play from the disks whether physical or virtual.
plus not alot of my games are legit (the nice new games at least)

A friend had it, I was not impressed :P. I much prefer having the installer or the disc/disc image.

you can be offline, in offline mode although the app has to be running. but ya you can just run in offline mode :)

I Normally play Heavy on TF2 although ive been known to Play Engineer and if the need arrised Medic but heavy is my fav

Oh and Riddick: Assualt on Athena is on sale 75% off atm :D

Yeah. I much prefer it now, it makes things a lot more universal. The only thing I don't like is you can't install and run the same game on dif. machines. I actually have to have friends that own the game now :P

Spy is where it's at. :wacko: My second favourite was the Heavy, as long as there's a competent Medic backing me.

Is TF2 Beta worth playing? I mostly ask because I've been thinking of getting back into the game, and I find the idea of playing it without all the bullshit trading/crafting/whatever pretty appealing.

Aye atm theres a fair few changes on the Beta Version worth looking into I think :)
