I used Vista for a year on my old laptop and was one of the few that would defend it, but as soon as Windows 7 was released I upgraded and will NOT go back to Vista.

As much as I advocate not buying Windows, I need to access the Windows site from time to time.

and Id seriously reconsider using Chrome, if anything use IRON, its made from the same source as Chrome and has all the SPYING elements removed that are in google chrome.
