Actually MasJ handled all the work. I just came online to let everyone know I'm still *somewhat* alive when I noticed some mod lounge goings on.

And now it's back to other stuff.

just a query which is worth more being rep'ed or being thanked?

Assuming the rep rules are about the same as they were previously:

Thanks if you tend to have a low rep
Rep if you happen to have a lot of rep.

Since the amount of rep someone gets depends on the amount of rep you have, and I'm pretty sure thanks gives a basic 100 or something no matter what.
