Agreed fully.
Also, I was bored:

Is that, Spongebob?
...
Yep, that's Spongebob alright.
I'm currently reading (on my iPhone):
Thus Spake Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche
Jay-Z Decoded by... Jay-Z
The Art of War by Sun Tzu
Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert.
I need to get the complete Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, and the other books by Nietzsche like The Will to Power and The Gay Science.
But I'm starting to run out of tigers! Also, I'm pretty sure killing tigers and harvesting their blood is illegal.
I don't think staring at my computer screen for hours on end is causing it... no, couldn't be that. It's more so at night when I'm driving, I can't see signs for shit anymore. At least I can still read.
I know right? When I first played SA I maxed out all my stats that I possibly could on the tutorial mission for the gym, and spent forever deciding which tattoos I liked the most. I fucking love San Andreas, I think I might install it again.
well it was a big deal when I came out, I heard people say they didnt like the new change. Which is kind of where Saints Row comes in. They picked up most the people that just wanted to go around and do crazy shit and not worry about anything else.
GTA 4 came out with a much stronger story and a focus, something the other games didnt have. You made choices in who dies. And the character of Niko was quite different. Everything had a more serious, sure you could go around and do most of the stuff you wanted. It was still an open world game by the people that basically created the genre. But missing something.
Which is why I liked the new change, I was tired of running around causing my own fun.
You just said it yourself, it didnt have "rad" stuff in it. By that you mean the very things I described above... the madness.
You know what, you're right. FIGHT THE POWAH.
I can see what you're saying. GTA IV has more serious overtones in the storytelling, and is a little bit darker. It also seems like they tried to make it more realistic too. I remember a lot of people complaining about that when it first came out, saying it took away from what made the games fun in the first place. I bought GTA IV solely after playing it drunk and laughing at the physics though, personally.
I can't wait to try Retro City Rampage.
Come out already!
yeah, you could really tell from the driving controls. They took a lot of getting used, its not your kart racer driving the other ones had. Much more realistic.. made it more difficult. I went back to it a few months ago to see if I had any interest left so I could play the DLC. But had forgotten the driving... and didnt bother practicing. It really threw me off.. again :P
ARGH my mouse is starting to fuck up.
