What are you playing right now #2

Spent last week tinkering with my PSX emulator, and after a lot of tears and heartache, now have 1:1 emulation, with enhanced graphics and full analog control.

Since Friday I have been playing Final Fantasy VIII and so far have gotten to the Brothers Tomb, where I cleared the entire place, and died on the last boss, and having forgotten to save at the entrance, I am now in a strop with the game, and am not currently talking to it. I did however spend most of my 7 hours played doing the card game, and have gotten 11 character cards already (including GF's etc).

Other than that, playing a tonne of Team Fortress 2, Hydrophobia, HoN since it went F2P, and Spyro the Dragon, as well as Pandemonium!, Croc, Breath of Fire III, Medievil and various other PS1 games :)

I started FFIV for the DS; not a fan of the changes, especially the way they screwed up Darkness by making it a 2x damage move for a few turns that costs HP instead of a party wide attack that costs HP. Also, the new summon that is just an excuse to have a Mii on the DS and play useless mini games to try and force touch screen nonsense.

Finishing up Persona 3 going for 100% completion.

Second playthrough of The Witcher 2. Not entirely sure why it took me this much time to get back to it again (haven't played it since May-June), especially considering the branching nature of the storyline - although I've already beaten it once, I still haven't even seen a decent chunk of the game's content.

Also started Chantelise. It's somewhat unforgiving (boss kills you = restart the whole dungeon, no checkpoints), but I'm finding it pretty addictive. And the localization is really quite hilarious, much like in Recettear.

Went SUPER close on beating Battle Subway Multi, dagnabbit!

Also been buzzing around on the Hamachi/Garena servers of Warcraft III.

Just going back to old games to rekindle my youthful gaming spirit... It's working... kind of.

Truth.... FFIV is like punching yourself in the face multiple times, and thinking "Man, this really hurts" but still punching yourself in the face anyway....
