Agreed, they're likely looking to drag it past the time window. It's unlikely they'll want it returned as they would take a loss on return shipping and the listing fee.

yeah I'm only giving them a couple more hours then I'm filing a ticket.
I'm not sure how they made money in the first place unless it's lightweight.
I suggest checking the PS3 disc slot when it arrives. I stuck two power cables in that box and the cable original to the PC PSU is in its bag inside the box. If you want to check the PC HW, clear a spot, discharge yourself, and you should be fine sticking stuff on the product boxes. That's what I do with a wooden table as the work surface .
Everything working :ahhh:?
seller still hasn't responded today so I submitted a ticket.
been playing lego star wars 3 for the last couple days I gotta say this one is my favorite of the lego star wars games the force awakens was also really good. they really improved the games with 3 and again with force awakens.
When you have the time, please turn on the PS3 and check the disc slot. Insert a disc and then eject if it loads it. To turn off you simply hold the power button (front, not the PSU switch), it should beep and it'll turn itself off.
You're welcome :revwacko:. It should dramatically improve your computing situation. I suggest getting a better memory kit when you can. This one or this other one for example. The best way to search on eBay is for a specific kit or a line (like Corsair Dominator or Vengeance or Mushkin Blackline, etc.)
Best kit I can find new (old stock?): https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zsT...y-pv316g186c0k
You won't need anything as long as your kit runs on the board but 16GB should be a pretty significant improvement on the usability front. You can check the support list if you want to search up specific kits.

I wouldn't update the BIOS unless there's some issue. Hopefully you'll be able to find a case soon.
Thanks. You should be able to get video output via the analog output if you want it. I don't know 480i works over component but it likely does. Hold the power button when turning on until you here a beep and it'll force a video mode reset.
The PC part picker link has NE and Amazon links. Those will probably stay in stock for a while and it's a decent kit though the timings aren't too tight.
Excellent :D. Some games will probably look fine while others will be illegible or hard to read. I'm not up to date and this might be avoidable but, as far as I know you need a PS3 game in the drive if you play disc games from HDD.
Understandable, I try not to use Amazon when I can avoid it.
For pkg titles it's not necessary. You should be good to delete the user accounts on there but you can also just make your own and set it as the default.
I dumped them a while ago. Rates had gone up too much, friends stapled onto the account didn't want to shell out more, and I wasn't buying enough there to justify it when I had in the past.
maybe if they did it in tiers like $5 a month for just the free shipping then go up from there with the other added crap like music and video there's little to no chance they'd do that.
what size was the hdd in the ps3?
Aside from generally being sick of Amazon .
Unlikely. The other services are pennies to run for them but the shipping has a real cost. I would've happily ditched such services if it were an option but I still would've cancelled it at some point.
I believe it's 80GB with 70 some usable. Kind of sucks for PS3 since you'll only be able to have one or two big games sitting on the drive but it's livable.
If you have a larger 2.5" drive I think you can safely swap it in and now would be the time to do it. I recall skimming through the PSX Place thread and thinking it sounded like it wasn't worth the trouble though.

Yeah it's actually easier to install larger hdd before you instal cfw on ps3.
I've always done it that way.
You can pull 500gb drives from junk pvr's and the like, that's how I got most of mine.
Pretty sure x360 rgh hdd upgrade is easier but I've only done it once.
Yeah it isn't overly difficult, but I think it is easier to upgrade x360 rgh hdd. You're pretty much just copying drive contents  Takes a little while but you can always pop original drive back in anyway.. you can swap out internal drives without reformatting them.
:lol
I live.
:gunner:
I did come across a cheap used case on ebay don't know if it's a full ATX case or not though I didn't look elsewhere yet.
I do have a 250gb(or maybe it was 500gb I don't remember) that I took out of me dead SS and had been using as an external. I see a lot of conflicting
answers there some say to use the built in backup and restore and just install the cfw pup others say to manually backup folders with the file manager and others saying to use rebugs debug to backup and restore
I don't think you can do that anymore because they force a prime trial(or membership) to get the free shipping. I could be wrong since I haven't ordered anything in a while over $25 that was sold and shipped by them directly.
rise from your grave  I haven't played that game in ages. good to see you back :)
ok so it looks like this asshole seller is trying to drag shit out. he responded late yesterday and upped his refund offer to $7.50 then sends me another message asking me to close my return ticket and they'll send me a new one.
at this point I just want a full refund I'll look for a better keyboard at another time.
Oh and I hope you enjoy the PS3 Grouch. A nice machine for sure and I already easily made money on it selling off the included games and controllers.
